His decision Has taken me by surprise as much as it has anyone although after having a chat to him during the Perth Test it was clear to me that the constant niggling injuries and the daily grind of training, playing and travelling was taking its toll on him both physically and mentally.
I can also suggest that he is not alone in the Aussie team that stuggles with this.
Having been close to the Aussie Team during the Perth Test (Staying at the same Hotel, Same Flight home and spending a few days at the Test in HOT conditions) i certainly came home with a greater appreciation of the constant scrutiny and pressure they are put under daily both on and off the field.

Can support JJ's quote up!! and there might be more than Shaun that are the same way.. And yeh that name thrown up is incorrect, close though and very warm.. Shaun is not only a great cricketer, but a champion guy, and just hope he can get refreshed and find that love for the game back again..
(mind you who wouldnt hate playin for the redbacks at the moment)
