Talk on any country footy league or club from the SA Country area

I haven't seen ravendale, but from what Ive heard, surely it'll have an impact. I cannot believe that it now sounds harder to watch a game from your car.
Even for partners of players, looking out the window at a blustery winter's arvo, or a day on the couch with a heater on, I know what I'd do if I were the ladies...
I have seen Waybacks and MR after a game at their clubrooms, and the great turnouts and friendly atmosphere is a tribute to those clubs, seeing as a bunch of those that go back to the rooms, didn't go to the game. You need protection from the elements to watch footy comfortably.

Maybe this will be counteracted by the older spectators jumping out of their cars and into the elevator in the new clubrooms to head upstairs and watch from the comfort of indoors.
probably be counteracted by the older spectators deciding that staying home in front of the open fire is a much better option...

If PLFL & GFFL merge there will a problem with kids travelling for an hour before an 8am start. In Mt Gambier this was fixed by merging only u/17's, A's & B's with Hamilton, Portland & Millicent sides.
Juniors could play at a reasonable hour on a Sunday only against other (5 existing) local sides. If club mergers did occur for a PLFL/ GFFL merger, clubs could keep their identity by all retaining junior teams for the Sunday comp. Logic is that there is more than enough kids in Lincoln to fill 6 teams, but not enough senior players to fill 6 A & B grade teams. If 2 struggling senior clubs merged they would have 2 feeder junior teams.

Sounds good to me Boags. I just reckon footy over here needs rejuvenating to create more interest with a better standard of ball being played. It would be great to go up and take Ramblers on and the trip to Tumby would also be good (great ground).

If the same Wayback 'kleenex' boys have trouble at the end of this year, like they did mid 2005 when they were decimated and played accordingly, I'll accept the favourite tag!! Until then, don't yoda me Bluesy....
