Well done to the Man City fans who recognised the minutes silence exemplary well at Old trafford.
The Man Utd replica strip of 1958 looks great.
Unfortunately as a 'pool supporter, it took the Heysel disaster of 86 for the stupid chants of the munich disaster to stop.
Now the mancs chant about heysel, but hopefully with this anniversary things will stop both ways.

Man UTD 0 - Man City 2 after 45 mins.
Could they win for the 1st time in 34 years at Old trafford ?

All over. A late strick by Carrick but too little too late.

Man U 1 - 2 Man C.

Spot on smithy. Minutes silence was exemplary, City Fans were totally respectful. Had a lot of shit press about what might happen during the minutes silence but there could be no complaints from anyone.

Man U off the boil atm. Scraped a 1 -1 draw at the death against Spurs last week and carried the same form into this game. No excuses either, and any talk about how the day must have affected them is total carp.

Chelski 0 - 0 Liverpool 40 mins gone

Final score Chelski 0 - 0 Liverpool.

Not the most exciting game I've seen but not too bad.

A good weekend for the Gunner's. Both Man U and Chelski drop points.

Have faith lads, we'll be reet 8) And frankly, I'll be a bit disappointed if we only finish 4th from bottom.

We are starting to make the SOL a fortress, 4 wins in a row now, all we need to do is actually get a draw away from home eventually

Yep - it's lookin' alright.

RC - we're looking at baby names, my wife didn't like my choice of Keane for a first name....

Interestingly, she was looking at Keegan and had no idea that Kevin Keegan was coach of the Mags. I set her straight on that one quickly.

Niall might be ok.
But that's a form of Nigel isn't it??????
I only remember one person our age called Nigel...
I suppose it could be Neil. lol

SJABC - I reckon Keane's a great name. Good band too.

Got Derby away in a few weeks, if we can win that then think we're very close to being safe given our home form. Plus we can land them with the lowest EPL point record hopefully because frankly I want rid of it because my mates give me heaps of grief over it :D

So are you a regular at Elizabeth Oval?? If so, I always stand in front of the stand about half-way down the terrace, if you see someone in a Sunderland top (wear it to CDFC games fairly regularaly!!) come and say gday!!

Great win tonight to the Clarets, coming from 2-0 down to defeat QPR 4-2 at Loftus Road.

Cole scored a hattrick for Burnley and they now sit just 1 point outside the playoff spots.

The Championship is where it's all happening at the moment. Sooooo close between almost every side in the comp.

Spot on DA, the Championship IMO is a lot more entertaining when it come to promotion/relegation etc etc.

The EPL only seems to be a race for the Champions League/UEFA, as most times it's just 3/4 sides who can
win the thing....

Well done on the win on the weekend !

I agree 100% particularly as we have won it 4 times in our last 6 seasons at that level (and finished 3rd the other two times) :D

CCC is an open league with some great clubs, but have to admit I never want to be playing in it again 8)
