PS No beard, no sandals and definately no acadmic!

Still in a job despite Labor Govt Wedgie?

Im in A job but not THE job I was. Testing is pretty mindless but hoping to get back int programming mid March. Its all up in the air thanks to the current government.

BA boring? You wanna get into back into programming? I confirm my 19 year assessment that you're strange.

Actually mate, I've been in BA jobs that have been dead boring, but the right role is great, lots of diversity. Agreed Testing is pretty mindless but outside the Govt it pays very well.

Yep, BAing you have to deal with too many morons (usually in Canberra) who don't even know what they want, then you have to coordinate others quite a bit. As a programmer I get given a job, I sit down and do it and don't have to worry about anything, I find computes much more fun and intelligent to communicate with than half the morons in Canberra.
Mind you if I do programming as long as I did BAing I might become bored there too.
Great thing about where I work for, Ive been there 20 years and had about 20 different jobs while the super keeps on mounting up along with flexible working hours and LSL. :D

Council Worker here 8)

Qualified horticulturist, although would have been better off doing the greenkeeping certificate rather than the general parks and gardens. Get to work as a greenkeeper on our golf courses, cricket pitch curator and all the sporting ovals.
