All depends on my work my friend. My best games last year were against Hectorville.had a couple of good 1 on 1s with that bloke at full back.Kicked 7 in the 2 games and played across halfback in the final.

Thats pretty much what i heard Wingfield,Ovingham and Rosewater to c2.Heard Rosewater sruggling 4 numbers and may go just 1 side but nut sure only rumour i heard, could b way off the mark.Id still say Ovies will win c2 from what i seen the other night, they trained like a div 4/5 side, got some good players so as you said you wouldnt think they would go any lower

right on the mark wattle, ovis would do well in c2 and would do ok in c1. hope mark and his meery men and kylie get it right at ammy house.

c2 is about the same standard as c1 going on the team who won it last year (shoc) and modbury. we (uni) played both of these sides the year before in div 8 and both were very similar in standard to last year's goodwood (runners up) and tea tree gully (3rd) sides.
curious as to whether the ovingham side is better than their 'gun' side of 2004 and 2000.
personally i'd stick all a grades sides in div 7, let the a's pay forfeit fees until the clubs concerned produce a b grade side as i feel its an easy option to sit down low and play c grade sides with an a grade team and really gives the clubs concerned no real incentive to get the second side.

Dunno finn, at least people are playing the game.rather see a side playing C1,C2 and playing within their depth than going upto div 7 with 1 side and getting thumped.Could put their club into extinction. What ever happened to the old saying "Though I aim to defeat you, if I do I will not humiliate you because for with out you I would be a lesser man".Unless they are being cocky p****s and rubbing your nose in it.

waiting impatiently for the gradings to emerge from tynte street. usually there is a prospective seeding list out in january and then the horse trading begins. i'm hoping that out football co-ordinator has a copy that i can take a peek at.

i've had a look at the div 7 forum and think that according to the old way the gradings were done that it is fine - but the saafl made such a big deal that the c grade divisions would reflect the a and b grade last year (and supposedly this year) that they've left themselves little room to manoeuvre. if smosh etc are going to bypass c2 and head into div 7 then i believe that c1 should then be the best of the rest with a promotion/relegation system from c6 up and get rid off the reflective nature of the saafl programming. in this case the uni side i coach should head back up to c1 and defend the flag we won last year.

personally i like the system from last year with its ability for district based clubs to have triple headers and help pull the club together. i personally only had this opportunity to watch our a grade and they got to see a different brand of approach to the game as well.
