POO, stop trying to give Wally some motivation to use. You should stick to shit stirring Wally as he delivers to Trussies. Probably won't even start so should pull up really well.

Waybacks 19 -17 to Mallee 8 -3 .... that makes 36 scoring shots to 11. Mallees tried hard but the Dees were a 3 steps above and wont be beaten this year... by anyone!

big statement HTM, Waybacks will undoubtedly improve as well but to say they will be undefeatred premiers is a bit far off. Minya played well after a slow first qaurter he dominated with his run and use of the ball. I have worked out one thing tho at Waybacks anyone with blonde hair is soft and should be targeted. That number 20 got dragged then got in trouble from the coach for talking to girls while on the bench, he has to go. What about TGs last qauter, does he think he is Ronaldo or Michael Jordan? Play the percentages son and dont let your teamates down who have worked hard to get the ball to you. Cant wait for Waybacks v MR, your right it will be the only good game this year.

Now I know Waybacks won but 30 mins after the final siren , Mallees have put in a protest as Waybacks had 18 on the field after #13 was clearly sent off after the fracar. This will be investigated and if found true Waybacks will loose the points. Young Rory did infact run on the field and if the league have any balls the points will be taken away.
I watched the game today and it was obvious that Waybacks will take time to gel, there performance was OK. Tom George is definatly a show pony rm. They are the flag favourites. That #20 and #14 dont be too harsh they were soft and ultra dissapointing for the wraps on them but you can't judge them of 1 match.
I liked the Bgrade match I had a good laugh and it was good to watch Old Eddie Betts, Ian Miller, Egor and Roger Johncock link up through the middle, well done to all who paticipated both those sides will play finals football.
Crowd was good for what was always going to be a one-sided affair.

Morning fellas, I personnally don't think getting on here calling players 'soft' is what the site is about rm, every team needs 'reciever' players and I think Waybacks have the pefect mix with the Goodwin boys to get the hard ball out. Lets focus on the posatives, impressed with young C Lever (not at Morphetville) played well. Goody 3 votes for sure, How bad is boags hammy? Mallee Park had nothing up forward to kick too and were repeatidly rebounded, they did battle on well for what they had out there and fitness was always going to be an issue. They will make the four.
BTB you are up this week to give the 3-2-1 in the Grub bet player of the year.
Bgrade was a good game to watch, you stated something sensible for once OL!

rm - pull your bloody head in!.........the breaking news WAS correct......so dont start slagging off if you dont know the facts!

In actual fact there were 16 clearances by the Mallee Park club on Monday..........

Demon win was about workrate - nothing else.....they will take some time to gel......certainly a tuff game at times!

to label certain players "soft" is not needed or warranted.......

Grub bet POTY 3. M Goodwin, 2. M Bilney 1. D. Walsh

Good early hit out, with casualty ward kept busy last night...ran out of stiches in the end. Minya, Goody and Hyphen 14 between them.
Wonder what Mallees will look like in 2 weeks time...story is most of the late 'ins' were cameo appearances only.
As for our new players...Schuppas got better as the game wore on. Good disposal by hand and foot, def not soft...in actual fact found a gear after getting kicked in the guts....Horgan tough little in and under...will compliment minya...does a lot of hard stuff that wont reflect on most stats sheets...gregory...mmmmmmm I like him....al lot

Tom doesn't rate Ronaldo or Jordan.
Correct score was 16-17 to 8-3 (upside down 6 at the final siren).
Good to get a win without any assistance from Eski.
The first gamers are all from leagues where players have the ball as their object and are protected by the umpires so they might have taken some time to adjust.

I reckon WB looked far better, with the new guys quite obviously, new. Once they gel it should be a good side.
No side I think would go undefeated though. It's a long season...
Minya BY FAR BOG, Mick Bilney second definitely. Good to see his confidence up and hitting the ball hard, good hands.

Wish it was grub then we would only be a couple of days away from completing rd 1 and would have the basis of an idea on how we rate the rest of the teams this year and who will be in the mix besides Waybacks. It will also perhaps and that is a big perhaps lay to rest some of the claims on the projected fortunes this year for the other 4 sides. May only be round 1 but as I say it will give supporters some ammunition to talk up their respective sides , or maybe reassess their chances as the case may be

I think round 1 can be a very rough guide, but not too much of a good guide. Last year was pretty topsy turvy (other than Mallees) so who knows?
Tasmans were rank round 1 last year V Souths, but did pretty well in the minor rounds.
