I heard he hasnt been out to training but when i drove past le fever high school he was out there having a kick in there school footy uniform. Isnt he to old to be playing school footy, anyway he looks like his kicking has improved.
Also word going around is young benny warren has signed at portland, i heard he has played at port adelaide magpies and seaton A grade. this could be a great pick up maybe even a association medal hopefull.

J Bird to have a huge season from the rumours i have heard!!!!!

Far from a medal hopefull, the young blokes got alot of improving to do.
Might of played a few A grade games at Seaton, doesn't mean he's an instant gun.
He may think he's alot better than he is but i can tell you, he's far from it.

Benny is a good young kid but gee whiz MEDAL chance. Can I have some of that please. Will be a handy pick up and that is about it. Could not make the Seaton best 22 in the Grand Final last year, so lets not get too carried away hey. Hes a reasonable good young lad - end of story

He'll do better in div4 dont get me wrong, he was showing improvement last year thats why he was given a opportunity in the As with Seaton.
Maybe he's dropped to div 4 to stand out more, i dont really know.
He was on the improve at a higher grade, why not stay put?
Once he got dropped for a more experienced player after the Pt Dist 2nd semi final, he got the sooks & burnt his team mates, coach & club, done a runner.
I think he expected to play A grade, regardless of his performance.

To give benny credit though one of the best hits Ive ever seen when he smacked the crap out of Tosold on the clubroom wing side right in front of the port district crowd in the second semi. The crowd were ready to jump the fence and kill him. Could not have happened to a bigger wank too Tosold had been on Rams hit list all year after he king hit cowboy in the Anzac Day clash earlier in the year.

That player Tosold hit from behind was young Brant Ellis Newman, cheap shot.
It was a good even upperer young Ben give him next time they met.
Didn't all the Dist people winge when it was on the other foot??
John Wilson done his best to get it investigated, especially on 5RPH footy show.

NO mercy, what do you think of young Nathan Ellis.

Play cricket with him and apparently goes alright footy wise.

Great bloke, just doesn't drink, so I dunno how'd he go at Ramblers! :o

Nathan doesn't have the pace like Brant but he has a crack & you cant knock a bloke for that.
He's not a lad that thinks he knows all or should be playing higher than what he was, he's an honest lad full stop. i don't judge a bloke any differently wheather he drinks or not either.
He's got his head screwed on.

Mercy and Newman - could not be truer words ever posted on this site.

Tosold had that terrible cheap shot on young Ellis in the Anzac Day clash and in the Second Semi Final, Tosold, came to meet Benny at the Interchange gate, as young Benny came on the field. Tosold being a wank thought he would rough him up a bit. Bet he did not expect the huge right thrown right on the end of his chinny, chin, chin. Knocked him stupid and those feet were a wobbly for a long time sitting in the dugout. Was a great hit and could not of happened to a nicer bloke, (except that dog who got Marshall with another King Hit during the year, when Seaton played Modbury, and broke his jaw - good gutsy stuff that was from *******, to king hit a bloke). Was funny in the Preliminary Final though as ******* started the game with black boots and finished with white. He had chalk all over his boots from skirting the boundary line all day. Did not want to know about the football all day and was glad just to get off the field while alive.

Newman - how right. Wilson did carry Districts all year on RPH with the comments. Thank god we have a new president to be honest. Great to have Gino Capegreco as the new President. At least it wont be more bungles being covered up. Gino won the Presidents race in a land slide or a Gino slide. Excellent to have a guy who will make decisions now.

We hopefully will have the new Amateur Budget and Website as well, to ensure that the bungles dont go un-reported, as they have in the past. Will be nice to have that Independent Voice, just to keep em honest.

By the way, the last time he played was for Seaton Rams i heard, a clearance from them may help his chances of playing for Ethelton, sorry Portland..........
