If Quin can digest Browny before round 1 & get some fitness he'll compensate for Ormond-Allen! :lol: :lol:

He'd be crappy at that, Haven wouldnt have come through with the goods anyways, Rosewater maybe the better option?

very true but many people at modbury still would like him out there at the same time with the thinking new coach better players around him better delivery... he would just have to pull his finger out

You havent played a trial yet let alone a game for points.Eg; The first trial your best player goes down with a knee,the captain breaks a cheekbone and your full forward breaks his leg.All of a sudden you have to go to Rosewater round 1 with 4 out of your best 8 not playing and get beaten by 10 goals and you look like an absolute knob. Get a grip and play it cool,look at bulldog imho has the best reason to be confident and does not go blowing his trumpet.Plymptons kids are guns with the likes of Ackland,Kennewells and the Poes and I will put my nuts on the block by saying they are way more talented than the Golden Grove bunch.These blokes havent seen a game of div 5 in 2 years and have the ordasity to come in and say they will go fine in div 5. Play finals first and tell us how good you are or gonna be and rub recruits in our face.But even Central United who went undefeated in div 6 in 2006 just crawled into the 5 last year.Sorry but im sick of people telling everyone how good they are going to be.Give me a break.

thats what i have been saying from the start of this Div 5/08 forum, everone seems to talk them selves up and not one ball has been kicked yet for the 08 season. when games have been played etc. then people can start talking. For all you peoplee that have asked , plymptons coach is Gino P and Shane Sinc for this season. :roll:

Not a current player Sprint, but have a good relationship with the Coaching Staff out at the Dragon’s Den.
Also think that if you believe half the stuff that ive been looking at reading through this form we could possibly be heading for a 10 way draw for Top Spot.
I've been involved with a few clubs that are in the Div 5 and quiet a few are very new to me.
Just wondering what will be the outcome of the conversations after we’re 6 games in?

Ill chuck my two cents worth in for the top 5:

In No particular order:
* Plympton
* Golden Grove
* Blackfriars
* Smithfield
* Greenacres

Would like to put in Rosewater but know a lad who came up against them last year and didn’t rate them quiet as high as some of the lads on the Forum do. But in saying that, good to get behind your club.

Rosewater at this time last year had 8 blokes traing
this year they have numbers in the 40's
2 diff sides and dont go on last year's form
If their top 6 stay long term injury free i agree with felch will make 5 easy

we'll see when the clearances come through stan, only one thus far in t hillman to goody saints. care to drop any names??

there is no doubt that the support changed a bit over the last qtr of the season on and off the field, but we still managed to get there and the b's got to a prelim. footy clubs can be a bit fickle like that but we've moved on over the summer. we'll take the guys that still want to play at the club and keep working away at the task of starting up from scratch two years ago.

looking forward to round 1 v plympton to see how we go and not wanting to wish the season away but rd 18 v GG at GG could be a fun day out.

Wouldn't B Hillman go with his older brother?
