Cardiff finally won a game in the league this morning to back up their heroics in the FA Cup. A goal in the second minute did the job.. but our financial struggles continue :(

Reading up 1-0 against Liverpool to a terrific strike.

EDIT - 90 secs later Mascherano delivers an equally great strike from 20 yards to make it 1-1..

38 mins 1st half 1-1 still,,,,,,,,,,,,a terrific game,...........full credit to reading so far..

Sunderland went down by a goal to Chelsea.
Had our chances - a nice header shoulda gone in.
Good competitive effort though.

Yep so good you are battling for 4th.

Arsenal slip up yet again.. but they did manage to snatch a late point or it could have been worse.
Man Utd were pushed all the way by a plucky Derby side, thankfully Ronaldo came to the rescue again with a great pass by Rooney.. and that's enough to put the Red Devils back on top.

Heskey also scored his first goal in 7 long months to hand Wigan a vital 1-0 win over Bolton in a "6-pointer".

I know there's quite a few midweek games this week, but my team's not involved so I can just skip over them ( ) and cast my eye to the coming weekend which see's the top 4 all pitted against one another.

If the Man U v Liverpool game lives up to recent tradition it will be a fizzer, but along the same lines the Francenal v Chevski should be a belter.

This weekend's results just add further mud to the relegation waters, which is a highlight in it's own right at the moment.

Yes, i'm getting concerned with this relegation battle. I'm worried we're going to have to pull a surprise win from somewhere. Some points on the road might be nice too.

Bolton would need a miracle to beat United at OT. Chelsea also have a tough game against Tottenham at White Hart Lane, the Spurs have improved quite a bit but Chelski are also in very good form.

They are the team I fear the most in the run home as Arsenal are slowly falling apart.

Spurs 1 - 3 Chelski Cole 51 mins

Chelsea take another huge step towards a precious three points at White Hart Lane. Joe Cole gets his reward for a fine display with a cool finish. Kalou dropped off his marker and fed Cole who cut past Chimbonda and fired home. Robinson took the pace off the shot but it looped agonisingly into the back of the net

Spurs 2 - 3 Chelski Berbatov 60 mins

Berbatov has headed Spurs back into the game. The Bulgarian out-jumped Terry and guided his header over Cudicini to reduce the deficit to one goal

Spurs 3 - 3 Chelski Huddlestone 74 mins

Huddlestone has fired Spurs level. Unbelievable scenes at White Hart Lane. Keane's corner wasn't dealt with and Huddlestone smashed the loose ball past Cudicini with his left-foot.

Spurs 3 - 4 Chelski Joe Cole 79mins

The Blues are back in front!! Joe Cole has bagged his second of the evening - and how. The England man turned Chimbonda after Drogba's neat pass and emphatically drilled the ball into the top corner past England team mate Robinson

Spurs 4 - 4 Chelski Roibbie Keane 88 mins

Unbelievable!! Robbie Keane has just scored a peach of a goal to level the scores. The Irishman cut in from the left and curl a stunning right-foot shot past Cudicini and into the top corner. It looks like Spurs have snatched a dramatic late point

Final scores

Man U 2 - 0 Bolton
Spurs 4 - 4 Chelski

Dunno if you will get chance to see this game, but listened to live commentary and it sounded like an amazing game. Berbatov had a great chance to win it in added time. Definitely worth a look.

Man U started like a freight train, but Bolton had plenty of chances in the 2nd half and two goals disallowed too.

Boys I was lucky enough to be at the Spurs game tonight, and can honestly say it was the best game of football I've ever seen. If Drogba hadn't been a cock and thrown himself on the ground at ever chance, it would have been soooo much better and if Berba had netted his chance in the last minute, it would have been the perfect game. What a chance, but not to be.

There were some BRILLIANT goals (by Keano, Huddleston and Joe Cole), brilliant saves, some spite, some shocking tackles (by Chavski - John Terry and Ashley Cole should be banned!), some piss poor reffing (of course!!!) and an amazing atmosphere. I seriously can't talk!

Will get some pics up tomorrow.

Definitely watch a replay of this game if you can get one.

You are a lucky man! Some are calling it one of the greatest EPL games of all time.

I didn't watch the games, but I've seen the highlights. Ronaldo's freekick was stunning and almost wrapped up 3 points, what a season that man is having.

The Spurs - Chelsea game had everything, both teams scored fantastic goals... thank you Robbie Keane for scoring that stunner at the end to earn a point and help United. I think he's a fantastic player, what a champ. They didn't show the Berbatov one-on-one miss so can't comment on that, would have capped the comeback perfectly though. His header was sensational though, such poise and then he simply turned around and said "come on boys let's get another one" while jogging back to his own half.

I wouldn't argue with the fact that it was one of the greatest of all time. It had the lot. For me, Tom Huddleston is becoming an excellent player. When he came on after half time, Spurs looked a different side. His balls into the area were always a threat and his goal was a peach of a strike.

Ronnie's free kick was brilliant. Similar to his gem against Portsmouth a few weeks back. God only knows how that bloke can make the ball duck, weave and dip like that. Such a great player. They were saying last night that he overtook George Best's record for Utd of the most goals in a season by a non-striker AND there's still 8 games to go. I really hope he stays in the EPL for a long time to come.
