Best
1.Pure Blonde(goes down well)
2.Crownies (not overated in my opinion but lost it's edge with other people)
3.Boags St.George (refreshing)
4.Heiniken (nice flavours)

Worst
1.Four xxxx (big night on it, tastes like cat's p**s, technicolour yawn after..never again)
2. TED's (started well.....then see above!!)
3. Tooheys Red (had about 3 stubbies in Sydney one year and woke up with a shocker of a hangover...beware!!)

Have heard that there is a light alcohol low carb beer on the market but not sure what it is. Could anyone out there please enlighten me on this? I hardly ever drink alcohol but may try this, being a diabetic and generally the designated driver of the group.

Pure Blonde stubbie has 3g of carbs
Ave full strength beer stubbie has 11g of carbs

Best lite alcohol beer for carbs is Coopers Light - 5g of carbs for a stubbie (and it has the real bonus of tasting like beer)

#1 just goes to show how many beer drinkers have absolutley no taste at all !!
#2 while not great, but still drinkable, other that a dose of food poisoning, nothing else is more garnteed to give you a dose of the shits the next day. Where else in the world would a mid strength taste better and sell more than the full strength equivelant ??
