rosewaters only problem may be up forward apart from that they looked good not sure if st peters were at full strength or not but they looked alot fitter than rosewater but say'n that rosies didnt give in at all like i said i think they'll go alright but for mine greenacres are still the team to beat

They will go alright, i heard a few players who played in the last flag,03,maybe heading back out, will see.........

Overall we were a bit dissapointed in the performance. Weren't as slick as we were hoping skills wise. Seemed to be working alot harder for our goals. A touch inneficient but you can expect that at this stage of the year as the cob webs get blown out. A good win though it should have been much more. Hope Valley look a much better outfit than last year just quietly as well.

Scoreline roughly
11.14 - GG
8.10 - HV

Still no sign from the lad from lucindale. Getting him onboard was only a maybe. Not sure if i expressed it that way earlier. Im not that much in the know regarding signings etc. All second hand info. Still no name as yet.

I'm sure both sides had a few players missing too. I know we did. I had a quick chat with your A grade captain who seemed pretty happy watching with a beer in his hand (even though they lost their cricket grand final) and was an obvious omission. I expect both grades to be much stronger for the next trial..

Thats the plan. Narrow down the a-grade squad little by little so we are primed for round 1. Easter break followed by a hitout against ardrossan. Should be fun.

Yeah Ads had a few beers. As Ads does. lol. Got a bit of tight hammy at the moment. Hopefully right soon.

There is no way Ingle Farm are in financial trouble because the money is under someones pillow,no normal person would dare enter their room,no offence raymond. They do not spend money on anything but coaches and up grading the facility, simple as that.

Burra and Deamon.
Went out and had a look on the Sat Night, must say felt mighty sorry for the lads running around.
I was breaking into sweat just drinking my Ale.
Thought that GG looked OK, Thought they may have been a tad stronger, but way to early to call. Still think should be around the top Five.
The Valleys were the team that impressed me, they looked like they should give the Div 6 a run this year, worked well but think they dropped off at the end with the smaller Squad.

Sprint and Burra - Speaking with a Bloke on Sat night over a Cold Beer up on the hill.He assures me that the lad from Lucindale will be out after Easter, and expect him to play a role in the Forward line for Burra's in 2008. Lads must have some coin floating around!

went and saw greenies play friday night, probably still to early to make predictions, they looked a bit scrappy, but with all the new players it might take them a couple of games to gel, one of their forwards went down with either a knee or ankle I could'nt tell from were I was but it did'nt look that bad, they had a couple of solid boys with good hands and they all hit the body pretty hard

Good to hear we looked ok from the outsiders perspective. Apparently Mitch was looking for a bit better standard from the lads. Hope Valley looked a completley different side. They should really shake div 6 this year.

Who were you speaking to up on the hill? If you can name drop i might be able to confirm the credibility of the source :D Be great to have another key forward considering Parrish has gne back to Pirie for the year. Didnt get name of the lucindale lad either? Im as eager to find out who it is as im sure everyone else is.

1.18 is to build the clubrooms zed. Not for players, you know that. Your learning how to push my buttons well though :D

Just got word regarding the lad from lucindale. Will not be signing on. Was apparently tossing up between us and hope valley. Played for HV against us on saturday night. Ran into Scott Charlton and is now the recipient of a 10 week AC/shoulder injury.

NOTE: Chow did not no that was the bloke or of his decision to stay at HV until after the game. LOL. On a serious note, he is apparently getting a pretty good deal out there.

Info regarding another late signing soon 8)

Agreed he looked very good for the time he played. Im only reporting on what ive heard from the lads at training last night. Apparently he has done a pretty good job of his AC. If it is just a standard one, 6 weeks to heal is usually the go, plus a couple to get back into matches. If its a bad one though, i can see 10 weeks clocking up easily. Specially if there is any shoulder capsule damage as well.

Be good to know how bad it actually is from someone who speaks to him directly rather than getting it second hand. Looked a very handy pickup though.

Had a boke out last nite from Gepps. Simmo. Dont know his full name but looks a very handy pickup. Played A1 last year, kicked plenty of goals as well apparently. Liking this last minute recruiting ;-) Seems to be working well.

sure mitch would love to see this on forum before simmo tells gepps. would be a handy player in div 5. div 1 footy behind him now too slow and not agile enough below his knees. good person to have around club, supports club functions well

If the Robert Caines stands up in the forward line for Rosies, then it could be their year. This pre season i have sensed he has some unfinished business, maybe him being dropped before the grand final in 2002 for portland still haunts him.
