gdp sat & sun (strath cup meeting)

preview tomorrow after the glenelg v sturt trial match, but i just wonder (i know sky) why the trots would start 6.25 when they know oakbank is on, firstly whether we like him or loathe him, the bookie should be there & unless he has his deputy (the great man tee) there, i can't see him getting from oakbank to gdp for the start of the meeting & lets face it a bookie does add some color to the night otherwise it is just the same as sitting in a tab or pub, after having a quick look i'd suggest sundays meeting is on par if not better than saturdays

Again the Bayman is on the ball Easter sat meeting always used to start at 7.22pm and also used to be a pretty big night featuring the Golden Nursery 2yo (20k) but times change the almighty god sky tells you when to race and you just say thank you.

PS The bookie will be represented from race 1 his representative will head to GD after The PIES have blown the Dockers up

How can we call it GOOD FRIDAY when there's no trotting meeting on.
Its TEErific to see leading trotting bookmaker DAMMERELL having his staff there for race 1 GDP Saturday

Theres a few shorties for the earlyBIRDs at the start of the meeting
I reckon we can trust all of them

they are
R1-10
R2-8
R4-3
R6-7
they all look hardest to beat, but are likely to be too short for any real value
suggest trust them in multis and exotics

No LATE MAL no definitive value that I can spot

TRIPLE VELOCITY
where is this horse now ?

RESULTS
3 of those favs won, but were all too short to back
they paid $1-20/$1-50/$2-00
r1-10 was beaten by the BAYMANBOGEYBARRIER 10 over the 1800m

BAYMAN 3 suggested bets for 3 winners :prayer: =D> :prayer: =D> :prayer:
R1-1 $4-20 WINNER..........wroxton with a dash A malPET
R2-8 WINNER AT $1-30......alzona A malPET
R6-5 PLACE AT $ 3-10 .....ROVERS RETURN the MALpet

WROXTON WITH A DASH is going thru the grades as expected
and is being expertly driven in its last 2 wins as well
ROVERS RETURN I just make $$$ every start with good PLACE divs

Good meeting tonight
Good competitive races
Good drives from what I saw on most runners
