Looks like Cosgrove will make his Aussie debut today against Bangadash.

I'd reckon he probably will bat at 3. Can't see them changing the Gilchrist / Katich combination.

Could be an interesting game! Aussies have a pretty ordinary side on paper. If Ashraful and Saleh get going a score 230+ would probably test the Aussies.

I hope Bangladesh make a few runs - good to see. Also good because then if Cosgrove bats around 5 he'll get a hit. Chances are he'll play at 3 though.

DC still wicketless ... doesn't look like he'll get another crack in this game either the way Hoggy's going. Haven't seen any footage but heard he's been bowling pretty well.

He had a bowl. According to Cricketinfo:

"Mark Cosgrove, the rotund left-hand batsman from South Australia who made his debut today, also rolled his arm over."

Good to see Cosgrove into the side. He will be a top class player for many years to come.

I think he will bat at 3, he is probably the player most suited to that position other than Hussey, who can bat anywhere.

Deathly silence from the wounded buffalo ...

Man of the match to Fatty Cosgrove. With whom I am not best mates either, but who I enjoy watching bat and with whom I have had a beer and a short chat a few years ago.
