Good call Mills'n ... Tough to also judge what "type" of squad we're looking to assemble with most of us unaware of the strengths and weaknesses of the opposition we'll be matching up on ...

How many non-South Australians are in this squad? All the Eagles reps are from Victoria. Except for O'Hara...

Yep i'm pisssed off today and then you read stuff like sus writes and then has the cheek to call my posts dribble???

Well sus as your such an expert on all things Dean Howard - have you seen him play this year and why is it that he is either joint leader or near the top of all the media POTY voting then?

P.S. Yes I am slightly biaised towards my team along with every other person who uses these forums or are you the exception?

I admit it was a poor attempt on a play on words to call you "Dribble" Drebin (I didnt call your post dribble - BB got it). I didnt mean to viciously offend you. Only meant as a bit of lighthearted ribbing. So I apologise if the context was misinterpreted.

I stand by what I said though - I have always found your comments extremely biased and defensive in favour of your beloved NA. Mind you your not on your 'pat malone' there - within this forum or the general footy community. And Ill alwyas be critical of people who cant hold back their bias a little bit.

Anyway I'll never stoop or reduce my comments to nasty four-letter vicious outbursts. Some anger management and control is needed on your part I reckon.

And Im not an expert on anything football - just someone with an opinion. My opnion is Howard is not deserving to be in the squad ahead of some young blokes who may have 3 or 4 state campaigns left in them.

But are those young blokes better players now? The State side is picked for a one off game. The best players for that game need to be picked. The state side isn't a club that needs to develop younger players. They will always be able to pick the best players available so therefore when those younger players are ready they will be picked. Just my opinion.

Well don't have ago at me for my opinion and the inference that what I post is dribble - no matter how you intended it - it read that way IMO.

I wouldn't say I was extremely biased - but naturally I am biased and defensive (if the NAFC is attacked) toward my club - no orphan there as you stated but "extreme" is a bit rich? However that is your opinion of how my posts read and your entitled to it. I accept your apology that is wasn't a personal attack originally which is what upset me so I will go back and modify my original post then but I can't do anything about the quoted text! So play on...

Drebin ( Dribble ) you are biased - and there is nothin wrong with that at all. But sometimes you must have a level head about things. Swearin and carryin on like a pork chop just doesnt cut it for me.

I didnt read sus as attacking your roosters at all - he had an opinion on a player that has had 3 games in the red and white.

Did you say sorry

From what I've seen this year Dean Howard and Nick Gill would be the first 2 picked.
Must admit I'd have Lindsay ahead of O'Hara at this stage though.

WA Selectors Forced to Make Changes

Paul Duffield's elevation onto the Fremantle Dockers senior list has forced the WAFL selectors to make changes to their squad for next month's State clash against South Australia.

Duffield who will make his AFL debut this Sunday against St Kilda joins Subiaco's Matt Priddis as ineligible after he too was promoted off the Eagles rookie list.

WA coach Peter German and his fellow selectors have also decided to drop South Fremantle's Andrew Siegert after the midfielder received a three week suspension.

"Three games out suspended and the Bulldogs also have a bye, so we don't think it's an ideal preparation for a state game, " said German.

David Mapleston becomes the ninth Subiaco player in the 39-man squad while Claremont's David Crawford has been rewarded for his outstanding goal-kicking form so far this season. Peel Thunder's Darren Bolton joins his teammates Grant Welsh and Scott Gumbleton in the squad.

"The inclusion of Mapleston, Crawford and Bolton is proof that the selectors will reward players who show consistent form," German said.

WA plays South Australia at the Adelaide Oval on Friday, May 26.
