Based on the team statistics per match since 1992 I have, the following records were made for the first three games of this round:

Souths' 129 marks is a club record and the 5th highest in the SANFL overall.
Port has 155 more kicks than handballs - 246 to 91, which is a league record, beating Centrals' 151 - 227 to 76 vs. West in Round 21 2001.
