Australia vs Uruguay
The day of reckoning has arrived. Will it go down to penalties, will it be a decisive win to the Aussies or will Uruguay continue their domination?

We are all hoping that today is the day that Football in Australia steps out of the shadows and makes an impact that will send shockwaves throughout the sporting globe.

Join in with The Gate and other Aussie supporters at The Rosemont Hotel as we cheer on the Aussies.

Wouldn't think there would be too many Sam, although having said that I really don't have too much idea (yes in general aswell) ... I didn't think we had any chance of making the WC after the first Quali, but something in my gut is telling me we're a real chance to get over the line tonight .. C'mon Aussie!!

If we don't make the World Cup this time, I can't see us ever doing it again.

Well, we're in! We also must go into the World Cup with the belief we aren't in it just to make up the numbers. If we play like we did tonight, we will show that we are there not for that reason.

I never thought we would win. After so many World Cup let downs in the past...! Lets hope that Soccer Australia learns from the past and promotes the world game in Australia better than it ever has before.....!
That's OK, SBR. It won't be the last time I'm ever wrong...!
