Players have already received letters directly from the amatuers

Will be interesting to see what holds up and who slips through the net.... Still it is a really good idea, Hopefully will clean up a few teams..

I can guess who you're talking about. Have you seen who Walkerville is playing in the so called rivalry round. I find it very amusing, I guess Walkies find it less so.

I think is the greatest thing the SAAFL could do for grassroots footy.
Parents will feel a bit safer about their boys playin our game and not send them across the road to play featherball! The flow on effect into the next generation will be noticable in about 10 years

No sympathy for dereregistered players, think a few certain young Smithfield fellas might have been or be close to being deregistered too? Initials AM and DN. Any word Bondy?

Altough i am biased on this issue, given away one 25m penalty in my 9 years of playin footy! (For throwin the ball back too hard)

Just did a quick flick through 06 and 07 tribunal results and the following players under the new laws should be banned from playin SAAFL.

Jason Creek - Salisbury West
Tyson Creek - Salisbury West
Anthony Rossack - Smithfield
Adrian Montacue - Ingle Farm
David Thomson - Central United

Can anyone one else can add to this list?

Please note that Duncs has said "should" be banned and that we can't confirm that's actually the case due to the right of appeal.

I'm not actually sure if the SAAFL will offically "name and shame" either, and neither should we..

For sure re: Joe Dirt! Wanker epotimised. i didnt need to name and shame anyone, their actions on the field are well known nuthin i could say could damage their reputations any further than they have already been tarnished.

i belive correct me if im wrong but clubs have just been issued with a list of players from each club that cannot be registered, also outlaying guidelines for appeals, bonds etc. Can Anyone confirm?
