Kenilworth don't have the numbers :? ? If you have 3 sides and a week out you can't field 2 then i'd say you are in trouble. Kenilworth have the numbers, from what I hear the juniors (Esp U17's) are doing quite well. Hope we keep alot of these players because we could be onto something in the coming years. I even got away from the desk and had a run last night, had great fun, wish I could do it more often :? Ground after the sprinkle of rain should be cherry ripe aswell.

dunno where our coach is getting his info from then. this rain hasnt come at a better time with the season starting soon.

dunno, maybe he made it up coz hes full of s***t

here the story straight from heccies coach, when he last spoke to kenilworth coach about a month ago he said they were short on numbers and was going to be three quarters...........but im guessing now if commen sense prevails it will be 4 quarter match 4 both grades

Guess we will see, but you would think both clubs came in contact after that (The quoted 1 month ago). Think 3 quaters per side is plenty. I know Kenilworth is still without quite a few players this weekend but im pretty certain they well and truly have enough for 2 sides. Im just hoping to get out of work earlier than I expect so I can get down and watch the last of the A's

heccies had a very gd win gainst kenilworth. heard 8 goals but reckon they got a few back in the end. very impressive performance by the whole team with max clarke the only stand out. heccies had julian leak, jb, jacob olsen out along with our full back and and one of our best defenders. big ground n hot weather made it very hard. mayb it would of been better of only playing 3 quarters.

PNU beat Kilburn by about 9 or 10 goals but dont let that scoreline trick you into thinking it was a walkover.

PNU were slow starters, there were a few new blokes in the team (whom remain a mystery to me) and it took them a while to gel together, a costly turnover by Burrows in the first 10 seconds of the game and other key players also struggling to get it together in the first quarter saw 3 quick goals to Kilburn in the first 3 or 4 mins. Kilburn looked solid in the first quarter, and where ahead by a goal at the quarter time break. PNU 3 straight to Kilburn 4.2.

PNU came out to play in the second quarter and piled on a stack of goals within a matter of minutes (well the time it took me to walk from the bar to behind the John Street goals anyway) and it was a nice change to see a 9.1 PNU scoreline halfway through the second quarter. Billy Kollias,Staggy (has his mojo back  ) and Nick Jolly were on fire.

I didnt pay attention to THAT much of the 2nd half..was shmoozing..although I thought Nick Jolly went a bit quiet in the last quarter when Andy Graham went into full back.

Adrian Wilson (the million dollar man we'll call him  ) can take a strong grab is a very good kick for goal even from 50 and is not afraid to plough right through packs without blinking an eye. Handy pick up.. he'd wanna be!

Louie Martin obviously doesnt think he did enough to attract the votes last year  so he now looks even "flashier" in a pair of bright blue boots

Pretty good wrap up of the game FC. I think the main difference was Payneham looked a lot better moving the ball forward. Payneham were pushing back harder and opening up their forward line. Kilburn were getting sucked forward and clogged up their space.

Louie Martin thought he could take on every opposition player and should consider handballing next week before he sets the record for holding the ball decisions.

The rumour around the ground was that Adrian "Wilbur" Wilson was on $2000 a game!

I liked the look of that Andy Graham bloke at full back too.

Walkerville v Athelstone: The raggies by 20....goals. I believe there was only a kick in it last time they played, and Walkies have improved considerabley over the summer. How much money do the Raggies have? I know it's only a trial but look out div 2!

Good win by heccies, but 8 goals  cmon it was no more than 2 or 3. Take a bit from the trial and as Heccies we had a few players out,but no excuse you can only play with what you put on the park. The end of the day it's only a trial.

went also to watch kilburn payneham
thought kilburn opened well
and took slender lead into the first quarter
2nd quarter payneham piled on some goals kilburn came back and then payneham finished of the quarter well and were 4 up at half time
3rd quarter was 4 goals each
it was here that kilburn became unsettled, lost their CHB with a injury, out for year, that makes 3 kilburn have lost for the year allready
last quarter both coaches made many moves and payneham by the goal umpires won by 6 goals 3
i know kilburn coach pretty happy with hit out, but all were dissapointed to see another one gone for the year
i think payneham have a good spine, some good on ballers and should be around the mark in A2
and shriek and falcon girl, none of us know what he is on, i do know he is really enjoying it at kilburn though, so to say ridicoulous figures or guess something you dont know is garbage, dont ruin a good day by speaking rubbish

heard about 5 goals, only trial but teams would have to be putting close to best sides on the park & Barossa seem to be solid.
