No, not really...

What is the most unusual piece of SANFL memorabilia that anyone here owns?

Not probably classed as memorabilia, but I have a picture of myself and Nathan Buckley. It is from after match celebrations in '92 after the Grand final.I am wearing Buckley's Magerey from that year and we are both holding the
Thomas Seymour Hill trophy. One of the biggest moments in the life of a 16 year old at the time.

I can't think of anything really unusual, I just wanted to set the historical record straight. The bicycle didn't belong to Stan Wickham, it belonged to legendary Norwood Trainer (and ex-player) WK "Tiger" Potts.

Wanna get myself one of those 'Glenelg Crows' caps paraded about at the 1992 Grand Final.

Were they in Crows or Glenelg's colours?

When I was still at Glenelg in 1996 I found a box of 1990 "premiership'' t-shirts looking for some development stuff at the top of the new Grandstand.

They wouldn't let me take one...

Hey I can live the dream and be in denial!!!

I did score a picture of Super breaking the banner when he broke the Australian games record in 1987, the frame was all busted so they gave it to me and I got it fixed up, looks sensational
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

They were black and gold, alright.

Rolled my eyes at the time but with the benefit of hindsight, wish I haggled for one.

What a collectors item!

Remember how you could buy premiership posters with the cartoon emblems for $1 straight after the game?

Saw someone flogging 'Glenelg - Premiers 1990' at a gate near the scoreboard.

FWIW, I bought a 1986 Glenelg premiership t-shirt from Bondi markets for $10 a while back.

Stumbled across it the day after the 2004 AFL Grand Final - I was still wearing my Power guernsey, of course.

God has a very black sense of humour.

Makes mental note to ensure SANFL Quiz team name this year is "Tiger Potts's Bike".

The mighty Pork Hunters will again take out the next quiz night. Even if people from other tables come across "to have a chat" and try to copy answers!!
