Just about to sign off and noticed I've just played my 100th on here. I'm making this comment so I can watch the clock tick over...yeah I know it's a sad occupation in the wee small hours..... Big day tomorrow boys as it's all happening again. Haven't decided where to go yet Just love that grassroots country footy.

callington didnt look 2 bad against meadows...if they can keep ther players all year they may jst give a few teams a headache..short possession, quick running game and there not afraid 2 dodge 2 or 3 players!
meadows bit shakey in patches but again will be a force this year quality players. Sodomka playd a's obviously and is clearly a fit man.

See Trent Frankel named best player for Gumeracha, what sort of player is he.

His grandfather Kel won 5 mail medals in the Mallee and uncle Clint played over 400 games for Berri and Loxton.

The Crumber wrote:Cougar, I've read the story in the Courier re your oval debacle. What input, if any, did KFC have in the discussions with Council and the Big O? Sounds like another controversy before the season has even started. Aren't the League meant to act in the best interests of their member clubs? So surely the Park Committee/Footy Club should have been involved. Was any attempt made to solicit the opinions of the sporting bodies?

Haven't read the Courier article, and don't know too much the discussions with the Hills Council. Word is though unfortunately with the Oval, it could be a case of Dig it up and start again.

spot on dd cally skills first class just lack a couple of good big guy's to compliment the rest of the whippets, won't make the five but beware those that expect an easy one. Meadows with at least three to come in Maidment,Minne,r Reid all first picks

We out to demons land to see them comfortably beat Macclesfield. Would read too much into the big score though. Macclesfield had some guys playing two games and in the first quarter looked like they were going to upset Echunga (Maccy having 6 - 7 quality players but lacking fitness). Echunga Ran all over macclesfield in the 2nd quarter looked as though they got all the cobwebs out of the system in the first quarter and then turned up to play, looked strong all over the ground against an undermaned and unfit maccy. The forward line problem looks to be fixed with Echunga with Jason Thornhill and Joey Whyatt providing a strong target up there for oposition. Will be a very interesting match against Nairne in 2 weeks time. Who does Nairne Have this week.
