I'm not Mark Cosgrove's biggest fan, in fact I'm disappointed in what he's served up so far for someone with so much talent.

But, at this point in time I reckon it'd be nice if we got off his ever widening back and gave him a crack.

Most would concede that this winter will be telling on whether he continues to have a future as an elite sportsman. His efforts this winter will dictate his future as a cricketer.

He's training with Salisbury. Doing something so open shows he is keen to commit.

Instead of having a crack at him, which has now become the established norm, let's get behind him and support in his quest to show us the talent he really has.

Well they gave him a chance at fat camp that did well, it was only 2 weeks ago i saw him at a yiros bar at 3am ordering his usual, plus he just isnt batting aswell as he should. i would enjoy seeing a fit and in form cossie maybe if they have a celebrity fat camp he could go on that..........................................................

I wouldve thought playin better for Australia would be more important than state? but anyway.

Dont get me wrong here, Boof is a dead set legend, met the guy and was even more impressed with him off the field. He was very good when he was young, great when he was older. Im prob 2 young to remember well enuff to get my facts right! So please excuse me

Well to the extent he played better for Australia, yes he was better, but he would have played 5 times more State cricket than Test Cricket, and that is the one variable that he can safely be judged on. He also didn't get a lot of opportunity in his early years in Test cricket.
