Still better to be prepared - it's looking like a 2 horse race!

P.s. My week starts from the last game - Friday and that makes it 8 days so into the second week.

Jimmy,he is 6' 2-3" runs hard and fast off half back and kicks well.

booney, i have a feeling he might have gone to trinity college?? am i right or wrong?

if so, he is a few years younger than me but never really stood out in footy at school...maybe thats why i have the wrong guy??? :?

i wouldnt sling off at players who are in the squad good luck to them but if one has any sense of objectivity they would agree that parry should be there

I fear that some selections are made on reputation, rather than form...
Howard is most deserving to be included- he should've had 2 BOG's this year already (incompetent Journalists...)

Parry deserves his spot - he is playing good football. I must say he has suprised me with his 'attitude' this year.

Parry has the ability to be the second best ruckman in SANFL behind Lindsay and even then he does more around the ground than Lindsay. Top player, has aggression and deserves his spot. Howard as well.

Chris Gowans out with hammy, so someone else can step up and be selected. Slade, Brett James were stiff.

Will have a go at a side later on, but spine would be somit like:

FF - Warren
CHF - Gill
C - J. Gowans
CHB - AhChee
FB -Sherwood
1R - Parry

I'd have O'hara as second ruckman. Not convinced by Kirk at all. Played well on weekend but doesnt do enough in general.

They had a light run last night, and from my information, some of the playing group may already have some indication as to the likelyhood of them being in the side.Or not.

You would think they would train more than once at the oval they are going to play on?

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????

SPoken by a man who obviously hasn't ever seen Kirk play any other times....

Kirk's strength is his general play!

He is the fittest ruckman in the league, and runs all day.

Gets a spot down the forward line, from time to time, and is one of the best markers @ the club.

Mate I have seen Kirk a LOT. Hell I was calling for him to be INCLUDED in last years side because he started the season so well. But this year there are CLEARLY more deserving players than Kirk. He can play better and yes he can get the ball in play, but so far this year, his around the ground stats have not been flattering. Parry has been a truckload better.

I would probally have Parry before Kirk as ruck but around the ground Kirk is more stronger. Kirk might be a better option CHF/B.

Ohara is a good player but I do believe there are other better ruckman going around. Although down a bit yesterday Lindsay is a much better player than Ohara in my opinion. Actually based on yesterday's perfornace Micklejohn (spelling?) goes OK - hes a big boy!

I have to agree on O'Hara - to me and many other North supporters he has been a little disappointing so far this year - mainly in the Centre Square, he hardly jumps mainly stands and waits for the other ruckman to mis judge the flight of the ball. He rucks "okay" around the ground at stoppages but I would like to see him take more marks a kick behind play to help out the defence a little - like Scouller did Friday night who from what I saw should be in the squad. So take O'Hara out of the squad - it will be one less game we cvan cop another injury

This disturbs me Drebin - you and I agreeing on matters North Adelaide. Would you like me to say something controversial and provoking so we can get back on familiar ground. Or maybe youd like to get in first?
