Myself and a South supporter at a place I used to work used to always called North v South matches the 'Ters versus the 'Thers.

Heaps of people had no idea what we were on about!

When them blokes learn to speak proper, I'll stop calling them Centrals

For mine, most Bulldog supporters, officials or players probably don't care which way or the other. They've been called worse by opposition supporters, most of the time from behind a full set of teeth.

Glenelg called us Centrals on the weekend, the blokes standing in front of me anyway... they said we are Centrals and we should go back to Elizabeth :?:

Saw the thread title and thought that it was about the late 1970's-early 1980's where the Dogs had 2 Cheer Squads that you used to fight EACH OTHER. Us in the Magpies' Cheer Squad used to egg them on of course! It happened once at Alberton behind the scoreboard. Such a hoot!

Have heard the same from the old timers - Sturts - Norwoods - Norths

Yep, my Dad's Dad is like that... Souths, Ports, Norths etc.

Same people that call the reserves the "seconds" or "twos"

I like calling it the Seconds.
Don't know why.
