This is going to be such a good match despite the ladder positions of each club. With the season on the line for both sides each team should be prepared to bring their a game. I do believe the Eagles a game will be too strong for Norwood though.

Last years game at The Parade was probably the best the Eagles played all year. That was following the worst performance of the year against the same team at Thebby a bit earlier in the season. I'm starting to question not which Eagles team will turn up, but whether the Eagles have a team capable of "turning it on"* at the moment.

If the Eagles lose this one, we'll be in real danger of missing the finals for the first time in a decade. Not that the team or the players will be thinking that far ahead. They'll just be wanting a win.

There must be some changes. Players who have underperformed or do not warrant a league spot at the moment must make way for proven performers in Passador, Symmons and Cicolella. Those young players who have performed well in the reserves, Broadbent and Jolly in particular, should be looked at.

The defence needs to stand up. To let that many goals through each game is terrible. Maybe a Cicolella or Colville need to be posted back there to add some leadership and on field voice with the absence of Pedler. Mckenzie is not the answer at the moment as we need him in the middle.

It will be a desperate game and the winner will be the team that wants it the most.

I am interested to see if the EAGLES use pagans paddock like they did in round 1, or the same old crap that they have been doing in the forward line the last two weeks !!
The on ballers need to stand up gone are the days of Lindsey putting the ball on their chest .They need to go in and get the ball.
Back line needs to tighten up . perhaps a Christain Groecke at FB might add some weight .
Perhaps its time to bring in Lee for Roberts. Not that Roberts has been bad but Lee adds more around the ground .
But please Ron bring back Passador,Symmons and perhaps Cica !!!Along with some new blood like Broadbent,Jolly,Couch.
Otherwise it will be a very long season at the bottom of the ladder .

Stuffed If I know WOODWT I just think that the mix is not quite right .The team has lost something heart perhaps .
Cica or symmons comes in for an onballer forward who is not performing
Lee for Robberts .
C Groecke for Redden (he was not performing in the twos the week beforeIMHO).Groeke to FB Cogoll out to CHB or HB .
Anyone else you can think off guys.
Lets look at it this way nothing except the 4th quarter against north, perhaps the 1st quarter against Glenelg .And the first three minutes against Port nothing has worked for the eagles .
Yes CD I read Rons comments but blind Freddie can see its not working and I don't think the Eagles performed better after half time last week . If the eagles had performed better they or we would have run over the top of port.

I could go on but I can see WWT having a year from the bad old days and I do not want to live through that again!!!

Now playing at Norwood this is the time to play "the get the ball into the forward line very quickly" game.As Norwood is a tiny oval move the ball quickly and do the first thing with the ball.

GEEZ I am old and bitter

FF LANE SCHWARZE DAVERON
HF FITZGERALD A. GROCKE PASSADOR
C HICKS POWELL JARRAD
HB McKENZIE SALTER BROADBENT
FB P. FIACCHI GOGOLL McENTEE
RUCK DABROWSKI TREEBY FAIRCLOUGH
INT FROM ROBERTS CICOLELLA BIAGI SYMMONS MACKIE

INS: Daveron and Broadbent for their first league games, Passador, Cicolella, Symmons
OUTS: Redden, Geddes, J. Stewart (inj)

Good to see some changes and some experience back in the side. Biagi and Mackie are the others to make way IMO. Still not a lot of depth in the midfield, unless Cica and Symmons are fit enough to have a run on the ball. Hopefully this is the case.

From what I've seen of Lee in the twos, he seems pretty mobile. Looks kind of awkward when he moves (not surprising for a big man) and is the same for his kicking, but he gets around the ground well and finds the ball.

Here is the seconds team which will also still have some talent

KLUN, GEDDES, HIER, LEE, TWOMEY, STAPLE, COLVILLE, JOLLY, HENTSCHEL, C GROCKE, REDDEN, D, GIUFFREDA, PAVLICH, DANIEL, RAYNER, REDDEN, J, MILES, DAWSON, HALL, EDWARDS

I think your correct Aerie plus Jarrad and Salter are lucky to be still in that line up after last weeks performances!!
Well done to Broadbent and Daveron for their first games .
I hope WWT don't drop Roberts and use DABROWSKI with Groecke like they did at Norwood in the past when lindsey was still playing. As norwood is a small ground .
