Rd 4 2008 Port v North @ Alberton

Postby bayman » Sat Apr 12, 2008 9:36 pm

this looms as match of the round, if north don't get some players back port could win but if ohara etc come up then north should win..north by 13 points
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Should be a close game, result may be dependent upon whether James Allan plays? How long is he expected to be out for?

Had a beer with the Hargs on Sat night after his 10 and he is a genuine bloke, to the bone!
Me being a 'feral Port toothless idiot' had always supported Hargraves and any person with half a footy brain would realise that when you kick it to him and he's standing half of the opposition side, he will NEVER win the contest.
Hargraves will kick a tonn this year, if his team mates allow him..............

Buzz, give us a spell mate. Harg wont kick a ton as long as his arse points to the ground.
For starters he'll miss at least 3 with injury and playing predominantly in a losing side means hes got no hope. Best you can hope for is 50-60.

Good to see Taylor and Tyson Wait potentially in for their first games.

Taylor is a 190cm versatile big man. Can play CHF and CHB at a good level and has been rucking in the reserves and winning as well. Quite quick, good leap, good skills. Should be a success at Seniors level.

Its good to see Wait come back to the club again. Highly skillful although a touch slow. Very good as a defensive back flanker who can use the ball to the teams advantage. Reads the play exceptionally well and has picked up tons of possies in the reserves.

Cant believe Miller got back in.
