Styris bowled a ball pitched on middle and Gilly took it on the pitch alongside the one they are playing on.

I think most of them are the cheerleaders for various NFL teams.

jeeze, The Deccan Chargers really fired in the last 4 or so overs. R. Sharma made 66 off of about 36 balls.

Agreed, it was a dolly. But apparently Warney rang him up to fill in for a while due to injury. He said that he will make more $$$ in 10 days than he did playing a whole year for the SACA. I'd take the offer too. Plus he and Warney can sink all the booze and smoke all the ciggi's they want together.

Has anyone one been on the official IPL website yet?

I have been on there over the last couple of days to try and find scorecards and stat leaders etc.

There are only 2 games worth of scorecards on the site, and it has to be one of the most horrible sites to navigate around ever! I guess all the $$$ was spent on the players...

It's worth noting things like the crowds (on some highlights I have seen there's lots of empty seats), a poor web-site and even the quality of the matches. For IPL to take over the world it has to work financially and be run super-schmick otherwise the sponsors will simply pull out or pay less next time around.

It could be a house of cards built on someone promising $X profit at the end of it ... and if it doesn't pan out that way well who knows?
