Disagree, he made it quite clear to clubs before the draft what he was doing, club's don't have to draft him if they think its an issue.
I'm sure Geelong would have been just as patient with him as the Crows are.

Im a Geelong man myself but am quite willing to admit that the Crows easily get the most talk on the AFL board here and perhaps they deserve their own board?
Just a thought.

As much as i agree with this you'd have to start a Port board as well to prevent their inferiority complex growing.

Nah, I don't think the Power get half as much traffic on here, well not from Power supporters anyway

And Power fans have thepowerfromport.com too.
Not sure if there's a dedicated fan forum for Crows fans though.

I wouldn't worry about losing too many posters from this site to BF, i know of at least 3 who post on here and BF Crows board as well.

As far as i know the Crows dont have their own forum, apart from the one on BF.

From a Port supporter's perspective, TPFP is certainly the place to post the majority of PAFC related topic matter, and if a Crows board was created on here i personally wouldn't object to a Port one not being created.

Cheers mate, appreciate your input, Port supporters are definately lucky with TPFP, great site and a one stop shop for all Port supporters, I sent them a courtesy email when I linked them on here and they were only too happy to be involved.
IIRC the lady who started/runs it is named Vi or something similar? She does a great job and seemed like a lovely lady when I talked to her.

A Crows board hasn't even been discussed by the mods yet but I thought it was interesting and I personally hadn't considered it till the comment on here about Bigfooty. Bigfooty doesn't have close to the standards we have as far as what is allowed and I know that turns a lot of people of that site.

Gees Wedgie, firstly you say some complimentary things on pompom's thread about the Magpies, and now you compliment TPFP, not feeling a bit ill are you ;) Yes the lady who runs that site does a very good job, she spends a huge amount of time every week contributing to the site and does an excellent job.

I guess some input from Crows supporters on here could be used to guage the need to start up their own board on this site.

I'm not a complete arshole all of the time, just most.

PS I was never going to sink the boot into the Magpies after today, I don't think you'll find a North supporter that thought we outplayed them today. Maybe next time though.

After what I saw yesterday I think playing for Geelong as opposed to Westies is better for Rodney's development. Kick back, sideways, hold the ball, flood back, pause, wait, go around in circles, stop, prop, kick backwards, u turn, handball and the finally turn the ball over - Gee Westies make it hard for themselves....

<edit> given the worst of the Adelaide FC game style maybe playing at Westies is a perfect fit for him....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Absolutely spot on. The Crows knew the score and accepted the terms of agreement. No problems with it, and it looks as though the Crows have got a good one. They were saying on radio tonight that the coach of that Geelong team rates Dangerfield the best junior player he's coached, and that includes players such as Ablett and Bartel.

Yep Michael Turner ... Coached a host of others too including Hawkins and Ling I believe - A pretty big wrap from a bloke that also gets pretty big wraps.

Is it in any way contravening (sp) the draft process?

Not that I'm aware Danielson (although no expert on it).

Didn't Brisbane allow Lenny Clark to come back and play for Westies whilst an active member of their list, believing the SANFL would develop him quicker?

Oh really? Wow, that makes the AFL's allowance of Dangerfield playing TAC surprising.

Cheers for the info mate.
