That must of been an uplifting win for North even if they didnt play that well.
Would give Jars something to use to spur his men on in the future.
From what I saw of Port earlier against Central, their endevour and ball movement was pretty good, but they seemed to be lacking a centre half forward.
Achee played fairly well there, but he is needed down back, have they a big man injured somewhere?
cheers 8)

Yeah, our main ruckman, Micklejohn will be back after the bye, possibly freeing Batson to play CHF and Ah Chee moving down back.

Presumably the votes would be given by the journalist writing the story, in this case Candice Keller, who although trying, i think is slightly out of her depth.

appears to be a good journalist, but appears lost in selecting the stand out players.
Mind you, Umpires still give Magarey Medal votes though...

She must be blind if she couldn't pick the number of times Summerton got the ball and she could have used the stats to make her final decision if she was unsure.

True enough!

Just goes to show you that you don't need to know too much to report on Football if she is getting a gig and missed giving a vote to a player who had 42 disposals to go with 15 marks in a team that only lost by 2 points!

I was also surprised [stunned] that North players got the 3-2-1.
I thought maybe Ladhams or Alleway might have scraped a 1 vote.

Candice Keller should stay with the nice fluffy stories which come across ok.

A serious question, is it just me or does North Adelaide tend to finish alot more games with no players on the bench left alot more than any other team in the SANFL?

Is there a reason for this in your honest opinion, do teams tend to hit them harder, do they put themselves in dangerous positions, or are they just soft (this is a serious question though)

Nobody that crosses the white line,be it at Div 6 amatuers or AFL and anywhere in between can truly be labelled 'soft'.

Its happened twice this year but could be just a coincidence. Our track record with injuries would indicate it might not be though, but we have had many change of Doctors, fitness staff, etc to find the right combo.

Southern League C Grade obviously doesn't come into your equation as I was soft as butter in my 50 games!

I didn't say they were soft i was asking the question why do North tend to get alot more injuries during a game than any other side.
I can only think of one time in the last 5 years that the Dogs have finished a game with no players. It was a wet day at the beff against Port which we lost a fair few years ago.
North have finished twice this year already with no players on the bench and it happened to them a couple of times last year, im asking the question why.
