I can not physically see how the hell you'd fit that many people into a small ground that has access to about half of the outer closed off ???
Unbelievable that the crowd record for the newly named "House Brothers Oval" was over 24,000 spectators way back in 1924. It was a battle of the two Eastern suburbs clubs in Norwood and Sturt but it got me thinking about whether the grandstands were even there back in the 20's or would it have just been packed and packed mounds of people watching the game ?

A more appropriate scenario is another Golden Era such as 1966-1970.
Go Sturt!

With the depth we're showing across the grades thus far SP, another golden era is pretty much a certainty. I detect the slightest hint of sarcasm in MT's post. If he said we'd win every premiership between now and 2015, he'd probably be correct... Oh, and we'll more than likely provide the Magarey winner in each of those years too...

no sarcasm, ive just been bamboozled by the propaganda coming out of UNLEY.
apart from magarey medallists i should add Ken Farmer medalists in those years as well.
who would have dreamt Perrie would keep going for so long

Showers are forecast. Wet weather might nullify any height advantage enjoyed by the Bays.
