An Eagles player got pinged for running too far as the umpire didn't see him bounce it as he was looking into the sun.
Shits me when you're at games, see 3 field umpires on the ground and all 3 of them looking into the sun.
FFS common sense should prevail?

The Reserves was a draw for those interested.

Siren goes. Port remain undefeated with a 17-11 to 14-15 win over the Eagles

Jeremy Clayton's picked up another 3 votes also.

Back to back "Margarine" Medals for Clayton with Gill looking like runner up again at this stage? It is amazing how much he gets of the ball considering the other quality players Port have?

FFS when is someone going to make a serious effort to tag/intimidate Clayton?
Surely he isn't that elusive that it can't be done.

Bays beat West and Port beat North it'll be a humdinger at Scumberton in two weeks time.

That game wouldn't have been match of the round since Billy Ray Cyrus was trying to avoid an "Achy Brakey Heart"

FWIW North I wouldn't be surprised if North beat Port and if Glenelg take West lightly.......
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Yes, it was the third quarter that cost us the match. Five beinds in a row at the start of the quarter to be precise, winning it by only 5 five points - 3.6 to 3.1. I knew we didn't do enough. I suppose there were some good signs in the match, but the finishing off for goal is a let down.

At least there was some good news - if you can say that - the reserves drew 7.11 (53) to Port 5.23 (53).
