Different story this week me thinks, surely rick has to back his boys in with their scintilating form at the mo.

Stampy, shortyl after half time in the North game we were down to 1 on the bench when Feasty went off, can't remember who else was off also, so your point of thumping North up to half time isn't any indication, but I reckon that game had something to do with Rick's approach the next week.

Just got back from Dawn Service at Unley. Great to see all of the Sturt boys there paying their respect along with us mere mortals.
Back at the Unley Bowling Club the boys all chipped in with the BBQ, being waiters and dishes duty.
A fantastic effort by them all. What a great bunch of blokes.
May they bury their enemy tomorrow after a tumultuous battle. :axe:

So Stampy did you do the right thing and get your lazy but out of bed and head to a Dawn Service...or did you take the opportunity to sleep in and take it all for granted?
Seeing the Blue Boys chip in at a community event raises my opinion of what they're about.
You Bays better bring your best side to play tomorrow or you'll get towelled up like the others so far!

Sorry Stampy not one of your better posts. Full marks to the Sturt Footy club players for donating their time to help the returned Diggers.

However it won't help them when the terrific team of tenacious tearaway tigers rub Sturt in the dirt tomorrow.... :D :D

i wasnt havin a dig about what the sturt boys were doing- full marks to them, strewth i will have to go to confession, if we had to act at the footy like we have to behave on here it would be bloody boring, a bit over the top with the chastising if i may say so

Rucci is heavily involved in the club (not just a fan  ) so of course the sun shines out of anyone wearing Double Blue

Went for a run around Unley on Friday night and anyone know why the ground is crooked? it has 3 very deep pockets and one very shallow one in the Pirate Ship pocket, basically goes in a straight line from the race to the point post, so if you lead to that pocket you really arent going as wide as the others.....quite curious :?

also ground was very hard with short grass, would have likes to have seen them grow it a bit more with the lack of rain recently

Well if you didn't stop for a breather every 10 metres you'd be running in a perfectly shaped oval. :)

Cutters, can't speak for Stampy, but I went to the dawn service this morning at CLG.

Didn't see any footballers, just folk who gave & give their all in time of need and on the most important day of all.

At the end of the day, they and we are all Australians and that is what makes ANZAC Day so special, not footballers handing out coffee....

Lest we forget...

Gee you Bay's blokes are serious at the moment! :)
Good on you SJ, hope you had a good day, your sentiments are well placed and to be commended. However tomorrow is another day and tomorrow we're not the same. :) Enjoy the day, should be a cracker of a game, I sincerely hope everyone who can and cares to, gets to Unley tomorrow to see one of the games of the year.
