Grub, I'll have a month worth of SD training fees on Waybacks for the win. They great odds you offering. For me Waybacks just to experienced at this stage. MR will improve on what ever happens this week.

playing down your chances a bit their eski (start calling you btb), your experienced group of Thommo, Eski, Rynne, Watho, H Parker, JOB,Caulf, Tokarski has been round for a while and Sarge is complimented well by these young stars. You may have too much run for Wayabcks with Scott, Owen, Hargans, Murphy,Dufek, M Parker all explosive players. Sure you will improve but so will they.
You could debate it all day. Conditions could play a part again. Are you playing this week Eski?
I will bet you a winters worth of paddock fees at Higgo's Limestone Lodge.

Has anyone heard of the possible MP recruits that will surface in the next couple of weeks. Names such as Tessman, Jason Ray, Eugene Warrior, Phillip Burgoyne are rumored to be in the wings.

boags/btb , I see a game is planned for Ravendale Saturday week (LC v GF) , will the ground be in good enough condition by then? Is the big opening match planned for when Tasmans play you guys a fortnight later?

Front page of the Times Thursday will run with the fact that the LC vs GF match has been transferred to Centenary, and the Rd 4 T vs LS has also been moved (Poole I think)...They HOPE that the complex will be ready by June 3 for the Rd 5 Official opening T vs W game. I hear that there may be a problem in releasing funds to complete certain area that will be required to hold a footy match...but u probably knew that grub....
Also believe the SANFL have taken a special interest in the ground from a OH&S viewpoint...stay tuned.

Around the goalsquare at Windsor ave end is dodgy and forward pocket has no grass. If they move the boundary in it will be fine. I think the big opening is Tasmans v Souths on 27/5.

Stay away from Wangary then!! In all seriousness though, it should be a great game this week and isn't it good to be able to look forward to a good day out. Bluesy and Rossco, I hope you'll urge as many Waybacker supporters as possible to gather at the Caravan and get a real buzz happening!! Hope both sides are as strong as possible and the footy is crackerjack, although the two early contenders for the 'Grub Sportsbet Kleenex Award' Boags and Eski will be MIA

On a more sombre note - bad news for Waybackers and Rangers as a result of the Gladstone explosion. Mark Blight's best man is the chap who is missing and Dan Keeley's brother (Crowbar's nephew) is one of those that has been killed.
Commiserations to them and families.
