Slightly off topic, but I like the way the footy leagues kind of extend Anzac Day for a few extra days by spanning all games across the round

I attended the Dawn Service at Gallipoli this year lads and I have to say, if you ever get the chance - DO IT. It's a nightmare to get to, the security is intense, it's freezing and you have to sit all night without sleep, but then you think what the boys 93 years ago had to deal with and you remember how lucky you are.

The Lone Pine Aussie service is excellent too. This years host of the event did an outstanding job and brought a tear to my eye a few times recounting conversations he'd had with vets and Turkish locals.

As has been said above, let's never forget the sacrifices made for the life we enjoy today, and let's look forward positively to ensure nothing like WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam & many, many others NEVER happen again.

Such a tragic waste of life....
