Great player that Thomas is I am sure that he will be the first to say that the dogs win games because they are a team and don't rely on one or two players. Still think that it will be a good competitive game.

Yeah I know mate, I was just pissed off and don't really know what s***t I was dribbling on about.

I trust that there will be someone who steps in a takes and fills the void (to a degree) left by Thommo and I just think that it has to be Luke McCabe for his toughness and experience.

I agree with Slipper about Mossey but I'm sure he'll be the first to agree that his form in the twos the last couple of weeks hasn't been his best. But then again, if you don't give a guy a chance to prove himself on a bigger stage, how will they shine ???

I reckon there will be 2, maybe 3 changes to out team this week, as follows:

INS:
Cowan
McCabe
Moss (?)

OUTS:
Thomas (suspended)
Faulkner (ommitted)
Dutshcke (maybe for Moss, probably not??)

I just hope we get a good win and start to regain some consistancy and form of old. I hope we don't get either of these 3 umpires officiating T.Dey, R.Williams, C.Rowston, or it could end up being a hell of a lot worse than that 3rd quarter shamozzle shown by the men in white on Anzac Day.

Duldig has his moments every year (especially at the start of them).

Cranston and Allen have been outstanding ??? are you talking about this year or always.

No offence but I couldn't see the above name players making centrals best 21.

I take it you haven't seen any Bays games this year, you'll see Sunday just how good Cranston and Allen are going.

No offence but you have no idea what you are talking about...

Big Phil-I`d be bringing Boyle in before Moss and we need Cowan back as Havelberg will probably have to go back to cover those Bay talls.I thought that last week we were atleast one tall short.McCabe should come in for Thomas but I`d also like to see Faulkner stay in the team in front of Dutschke who needs to learn how to kick to a team mate.

Cranston I thought was pretty good against Sturt last Saturday , I also thought he was good against us last year in most if not all the games. He would make most sides I reckon.

Just an opinion boys did not mean any offence as stated. Im sure if Cranston and Allen can keep up their recent form. The tigers could easily prove me wrong at the end of the year.

Back to the game. Thommo is going to be a big loss. He has been our best player this year so far IMHO. Hopefully Luke Mccabe gets to play his first league game back in the red white and blue this week. Would also like to see Danny Boyle come into the side aswell.Go U Doggies.

I will be absolutely stunned if Cameron gets dropped this week. Great game against Norwood and a reasonable game against North considering that he sustained an injury in the first quarter after a clash. We will need him if we are going to get anywhere near the Bays this week. From the Ressies, the following players may not be too far from getting a callup: Moss, Giles, McCabe and Porter. Will Elijah Ware return this week?

Giles and Porter,I dont think so BP.I guess it shows our lack of key position players when they are mentioned on their average form.

Porter has been racking up the stats lately in the Ressies. Two great games against Norwood and North. He may be a little way away still but I will bet London to a brick he breaks into the League team by the season's end.

Would like to see Cam stay in and Dutschke out,his disposal is poor and he has the same problem that Liptak had.Boyle is the other who should be considered but should play on a wing, not deep in defence.

Good point Jimmy. Roy has probably given up any hope of winning another game this season and is rebuilding for next

Hadden has been playing okay in the Ressies but I just don't think he has enough strength around the ball, probably a bit light on in the upper body. Dan Boyle is a much bigger, just as quick, harder running defender playing just as good in the twos as the Angaston lad, Louis...

What's your source Mighty Morphin Power Ranger on the C.Gowans comment and what kind of injury actually is it...

Don't tell me he's shot another nail into his elbow with his nail gun again !!! I reckon the first game he missed after he did that for real a few seasons back, was actually Glenelg away !!??

Hope there is no truth to this rumor, we definatley need his hardness and skills in the middle...

GO U DOGGIES...

Big Phil...

P.S - I heard McConnell, Grima, Bode, Backwell, Mules and Cranston are all out for 4 - 6 weeks !!??

Hey Football Fans,

The club just emailed me Centrals team for this weeks game against the Bays. A few interesting names there as highlighted...

Full Forward: Luke Cowan, Daniel Havelberg, James Gowans
Half Forwards: Ian Callinan, Heath Lawry, Trent Goodrem
Centre Line: Cameron Faulkner, Chris Gowans, Leigh Westhoff
Half Backs: Adam Switala, Daniel Schell, Ryan Williams
Full Backs: Andrew Hayes, Yves Sibenaler, Richard Cochrane

Rucks: Earl Shaw, Charles Slattery, Matthew Slade

Interchange (from): Jason Mackenzie, Chad O'Sullivan, Luke McCabe, Scott Dutschke and Elijah Ware

Despite some differing opinions of others, good to see Cam Faulkner named to start on the field. Luke Cowan is named in the pocket for his first game back from his knee issues and Chris Gowans is named in the middle despite some whisper of a mystery injury. Good to see Luke McCabe back in the team, albeit on the bench (along with Scotty Dutschke and Elijah Ware who you would think might both struggle to hold their spots in the team) and in my opinion, I reckon we need to go with McCabe, Mackenzie and O'Sullivan on the bench.

Looks like a pretty good team on paper and with Glenelg having a few tall forwards (despite me not seeing their team yet, I just know) I think Luke Cowan will play full forward and Dan Havelberg will once again play in the backlines, possibly on Grima.

Can't wait for Sunday, bring it on, hopefully the forecast of 22 satys the same and turns out to be a good day for football.

GO U DOGGIES...
