Picked up a 6 pack of Pure Blonde and a 6 pack of Boags Premium Blonde in keeping to my health kick.
Urgh, they're terrible (Boags being the worse).
Is there a decent low car beer out there or do they all taste so terrible?

The bitter, yes. Terribly good
But the Southwark white/wheat beer wasn't too bad... do they still make that? No, pity as well
And the Southwark premium is possibly the most underrated beer in the nation. Spot on

Nah, Southwark Bitter was always the beer known traditionally as Green Death.

Ian wrote:The original recipie Southwark wasn't bad, according to an old bloke that used to work at the brewrey it was changed, only the old die hards still drank it, during the 90's it changed back to the original recipie but the damage to it's reputation was already done, either way it still tasted better than the crap in a green can (or bottle label) from across the border. Green Death is far to kind for VB!!

Good news is the 12 beers I bought tonight will last 2 or 3 weeks as its soo terrible.
