sounds like their just travelling sweetly rossco! How long will their coach stay on?
I see 'the axe' has a good ride at Morphetville tommorow, hopefully he can get a few more in coming months on the heavy tracks. Good Luck!

Rossco & I just had a guided tour of the Sellen Towers, thanks to Bob Milic and Justin Howard. Very impressive, and will be a thing of beauty when finished. The hockey people (all 20 of them) are very fortunate indeed, have worlds best facilities and spectator viewing would put some olympic venues to shame. A real hive of activity there at the moment, both in the rooms and on the ground. Council working feverishly to try and resurrect the GF/LC game next week. Only a lack of hot showers may deny them...altho the Centenary showers were never much to get carried away about.

Hockey has a bigger following than people think. The number of players has increased dramatically over the last few years and I (and I'm sure I am not the only one) think they deserve more credit than they are getting.

my boss is one of the main driving factors behind the entire development at ravendale, without the likes of the hockey association the whole ravendale concept would'nt have gone through!! believe it or not thats the way it is!

the hockey opening is at the start of june, the likes of mark riccutio and nikki hudson (hot as australian hockey roo player) will be in attendance

in closing, i hate the sport hockey, but without it in lincoln ravendale wouldn't be what it is now!!

photo of nikki hudson here - http://www.smh.com.au/ffximage/2005/12/ ... x322,0.jpg

I know it's a different sport, but couldnt find any nude Hockeyroo photos.

And whitetips...you are right without the brains of the hockey association, the Ravendale complex would not have gone ahead...says a lot for Tasmans doesn't it???

Waybacks too good in the end in what was a good but low scoring match to get up by 8 points. They deserve their favourite status which most followers would have had them pencilled in as even before Saturdays game.
How good is Matt Goodwin. Just knows where the footy is and gets kick after kick. Also a tough little nut - bounced up after a tackle that would have left just about everyone else prostrate. Hurt him but to his credit continued on after a little breather.

ramblers beat us convincingly in the end, however we were up at the first break by 2 points, then we were 9 points down at half time, once again our goal kicking let us down, we had something like 2 goals 9 to half tim, none of them were rush either all getable shots from within 50. They are very beatable this year i rekon, their just a team where you can let any of your opportunities go to waist!

ruley kicked 7 but only had 2 to half time, he didnt kick a point for the whole match either, dobbed from all positions around 50, joel fitx bagged a few as well, with also kicking no points, straight kicking ended up being the difference!
