Bays v Westies

Postby am Bays » Sat May 13, 2006 6:13 pm

According to my text message from Borat, the mighty bays have won by 11 goals minus 1 pt.

Well done boys, a good win not a great win. Now to face up fired up port on their dunghill next week.

Obvious question now is, When WEED, When?
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Nah just sh!t stirring, Weed is safe, at the minute, as you can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear.....

Weideman should be safe but are you always safe with Uncle Doug about??

All Coaches are safe until the Committe/club anounces they support him -- that seems to be the kiss of death :) :)

Well, lets encourage Weed to come out and say he supports the committee. See if the same thing occurs in reverse.

Very good win, should have been better with straighter kicking. Hopefully next week we can get that Monkey off our backs and have a win at Scumbulton for first time since 93 (?).
I think for Westies they need their supporters to fire up a bit (not just the 5 Cheer squad members) but while Doug is still their I cant see to many people joining club in the near future.

100% Correct

I was ashamed to call my self a West supporter yesterday, They are miles and miles of the pace, your win was not that impressive, we we 20 goals behind you but you only won by 10.
Dont worry about Gibbs (Sellar is going very very high in that draft as well). I Like Him

The lack of respondents on this thread demonstrates that we are not getting too excited about yesterdays win.

hard to get excited about yesterday. we were lucky to be in front at 1/4 time and if it wasnt for mouse the game could have easily slipped away!!!!!!!

i like the way we came out in the second half and controlled it more, the poor kicking was a slight disappointment and against stronger teams that would have come back to haunt us. IM sure goal kicking will be high on the agenda for the week ahead.

Unless something remarkable happens to this team, or something disastorous for another, me thinks Weed is gonna do the Brenton Honor trick of spoon in the magoo's followed by spoon in the league.
