Balak: Cold beer but I waited about 5 mins to be served at the bar on saturday. not good enough when a mans thirsty.

Ah Ha, so it's not just me, i was once at Balak and the barman saw me and asked everyone around me as well as a few older ladies that were behind me if they would like anything, after about 5 minutes of him, trying his hardest to avoid my position at the bar, i gave up and made the long trek home thirsty, i could put up with the verandah of knowledge or whatever it's called having several patrons and i can accept the fact that you can be inside the club for thirty minutes without a Balak player coming in to talk, but to get shafted at the bar, with my ten $ in hand, by two barmen not just one was appalling and i won't go in there anymore, Sorry Peckers but your barmen need to lift!!
Sorry people I only deal in facts!

Hey Rooster just curious, is Jimmy Demasi you're player sponsor or something? Or are you just a massive fan of Dubby Fruit and Veg?

Virginia actually have 2 reps and have had them for the past 2 years. This is the first year where there is a rep from each club, so last year and this year Virginia have more than their share of reps. Hardly puppets I would say.

Where is Ricky O these days???????
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Puppets of what? The President? The Clubs? I would think they all go in with good intentions - some are probably fighting out of their weight class - as can be seen by some of the decisions coming out of the committees - case in point "Mercy rule".

Not a player sponsor, but a sponsor of the club and i thought i would give it a run for them as Jim was quick to point out his back page advertisement on the back of the producer, next week it's the Mallala Hotel, then it's off to the Two Wells butcher for fresh country killed meat!!

eggs??? perhaps, not sure and brocoli is practically walking out the door, Gee Whiz, I should have done a bit of research beforehand methinks, You know i reckon they do sell eggs as about four years ago we stopped by at Dubby Fruit and veg to pick some tomatoes and eggs to go with our 10kgs of bacon, the tomatoes were superb, but most of them found their way, as well as the eggs, on to peoples heads, clothes and vehicles. ahhh what a weekend.
