Some great pics there.
Awesome to see Jars, Gerard and the Rooster players getting excited after that wonderful victory.

My guess was about 4600, most of them rocked up after 2pm!
Easily more North fans there today than Port fans which suprised me.

Yes, surprising considering they were undefeated and the Power aren't going too well.

MY guess 4200. Spoke to Neil Cross he said 6000. I thought u gotta be kidding.

Wedgie,

Without initiating conflict I thought Port had 60% plus of the crowd. I was standing in front of Tapestry and the people with me agreed. Mind you Reba was one of them. I was honestly disappointed with Norths turnout!

"Baby on board". Why dont you put a sign on ur car saying "adult on board" or "car stereo in use"?

Bugger the pokies, if North make Jars and Fud pay for all the pies they eat on a Saturday, well it is no wonder they are rolling in it!!!

No wonder they have money to pay over the cap.........

Only joking boys about the cap.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I agree with dash, there were more Port supporters, the entire eastern side seemed to be full of them, good to see a majority of the Port supporters wearing the black and white and supporting the SANFL :D great atmosphere played in the best traditions of the competition. :D

I honestly thought there was more North supporters as the North crowd dominated the Grandstand side which had more people as opposed to Port supporters dominating the sparser outer. I only ventured between the cricket club and Taj on the Grandstand side though.60/40 in North's way IMHO.

Good stuff Wedgie - I've got some too and will post them sometime tomorrow.

I'd say 50/50 crowd. The outer was almost exclusively Port, except the Rooster cheersquad in the north-eastern corner.

I was at the north v port game and saw the north boys getting carted out for doing nothing. Did they get fined? do u know what happened?. It was all bullshit to begin with, the coppers tryed to get us port boys to snap and stuff up and when it didnt happen they went and picked on the north boys. Stupid pigs.

Looks like those Roosters know how to celebrate in May,deservedly so might I add,a good win by an understrength team.

Heard a good story or two about Daryl Wintle's 30th a week or two back...
