Might be an old fashioned match of Balak versus skins.

At least it was Mallala's guernseys not Balak's! Mallala vs skins wouldn't be too pretty

It could only happen to him ...... apparently he was in the Two Wells footy club having a few ales when he got the call - everyone thought it was a joke - including him - apparently it was not.

Tuck could probably grab the U17s jumpers for the B's - they should still be clean - mercy rule - half a game - etc etc .

why!!! er...sure i have had one, er how did you know!!

No Really, just looked at the blokes who have been getting a kick, would have thought A.Leo should get an invite for being the league leading goal kicker thus far, yes i know Brett Burgess is up there also, but you can't rely on kicking all your goals from free kicks, sorry, i reckon he's hopeless.

And Mallala had a few blokes i've never heard of as well, but more power to em, should be a fairly strong side, AGAIN!! the only problem was that in the producer it never said where the training was to be held, is it Balak as the Carnival will be?

Good to see Q Graham in there after some super football  sorry couldnt find the sarcasm face....

I think that young Sam Jericho is probably the unluckiest bloke to miss out.
Interesting that there aren't too many backman in the squad. Seems to be all midfielders and ruckmen.

As the old saying goes what goes around comes around . I remember quite a few years ago a certain josh jones coached the maggies .During one of the years he coached he brought a player up from the b's against the tigers. This guy clearly had no ability his sole job was to run around and give a few players cauliflower ears and he did just that. I even think this same player broke wilf heslop's nose in the same year in the b grade. But he got his ,i dont think i have seen him strike one of our players since .

Mate if i was a tiger supporter mate i wouldnt start pointing the finger at all after what those pym, hall and macardle thugs used to do on the footy field in the late 80's. If you think belting 17 year old whom struggle to defend themselves is fine that your a weird unit.

Do you mean support the use of playing permits for those players just over the cutoff age? If so, as I understand it all permit applications are treated individually and on its merit - are you saying Mallala always object?

I agree that it is better than the mercy rule - but just about everything is.

I understand there is a meeting this Wednesday and on the agenda is "flicking the mercy rule" - as far as I can determine Mallala, Hamley, Two Wells and Balaklava coaches don't like it or want it. I suspect the other 3 clubs would also agree.
We live in a democratic society so why do we put up with what only a few want? NOT ONE person i have spoken to supports the mercy rule! why did mallala support this! is it because they know they will not be competitive in the U17s this season? why not give clubs that struggle for numbers in the juniors more pemit players ? It must be better that the bullsh*t we had to endure on sat. we had to pull players so the game went passed 1/4 time. About time the APFL got their head out of the sand and listern to the people who make up the APFL! And not worry about their own EGO's

While the mercy rule was suggested by a Mallala delegate it was passed and supported by the league, of which Virginia and all other clubs are a part.

Is Virginia's oval's irrigation hooked up to the waste water re-use scheme from bolivar like the vegies or is it bore or mains?

OK so why are we keeping it now everyone has had a say? Like i stated they would look very silly if the rule was thrown out, they will hold on tooth and nail so their ego's are not dented.

Write a letter or go to a meeting, speak to your two delegates, ask them, grizzling on here doesnt solve the problem.
