Why dont all the Westies members start a no confidence in the board and CEO to get rid of them, it was done with us and it seems to be paying off now.

Whilst our constitutions are similar enough to do that, your club is made up of ONE club, where as ours is two. One being the Football club, the other being the Footballers Club (where the money is) From there it gets just a little complicated.

IE: topple one club and not the other and they can deny funding "allegedly"

But it IS being looked at!

I dont think its just the board, the whole club as a whole from the GM to the drink boys has to be looked at. this happened at the eagles a few years ago and worked.

We can blame the coach but to be honest he was appointed wthout other applications being sought, wether the weed ends up a good coach time will tell, Speaking for myself only i would love Darren Jarman at Westies coaching overseeing everything in a role of coach but also doing the special work with the kids. A totally full time job and from Henley Beach to Richmond is a lot closer than Prospect.

Thats an innovative suggestion Dash.

So in a nutshell you are looking at someone who not only can coach (apparently) but also someone with a media presence, who also brings the benefit of attracting sponsors, enthusiasm, atmoshere and communication.

Interesting suggestion.

I'm making an effort to get around and watch all the games with AFL prospects playing in them if I can that is. Gibbs and Sellar the def the best two from SA, with Hurley/Holmes/Pfieffer/Schmidt on the next level below and Thomas/Cheetham/Wundke/Starke/Edwards the level below that and there are more as well.

Sellar would probably go before Gibbs due to his value, he is a gun KPP and they are harder to find than gun midfielders. I personally think Gibbs has more natural ability and better footy brain but for his size and position played, Sellar is the better value pick. Both are AFL ready RIGHT NOW, so give them another 8 months, an AFL pre-season and they willl be flying.

Holmes is a pleasure to watch, he moves with the utmost ease and uses footy very well. Fluid mover and reminds me of Shane Crawford a fair bit.

Thunderstruck, if you can, have a look at a young ruckman playing magoo's for the Bays, name Jason Sutherland.

Love to hear an unbiased opinion of him, and where he will be in 3-5 years.
