You would get a free kick every time against you if you touched a bloke after he'd kicked it. even if attempting a smother and following through - how can u pull out of that whilst in mid air!?!?
Anyway a credit to our young boys again stuck it out all day and prevailed in the last qtr yet again. the young legs carried us through!
On another note Ingle Farm great win - I hear there are a couple of injuries down G-Junction way.. Broken ankle, hamstring, with the b's like they are i wouldn't see them having much depth if a few more boys were to go down... Congrats farmers - needed a good win!

Agreed, at least you guys didn't get three players sent off for absolute crap, I think the small oval cramped Smithfield's game but nevertheless you guys kept bouncing back. The umpiring became humourous towards the end, the old fella didn't even know which arm to put up when awarding a free and forgot why he was awarding frees, he called play on at one stage then forgot he said it and paid a 25, I'd hate to see div 7, the B grade umps were excellent.

Good to see the Farmers knock off Greenies, really opens up the comp now, take into consideration that Kenilworth knocked off Ingle Farm, it's basically whoever turns up to play the game on the day, that's what we need to see in div 5.

No but we did get one player sent off for saying ohhhhh come on haha - jeez what a mock!

I think he was trying to even things up a bit, I didn't think that there was much in it.

A lot of talk on Greenacres injuries but surely they cant be the only ones, I know for a fact they have lost 4 for the season "2 knees, broken hip, broken ankle" and all onballers. All teams would have injuries by now so they cant use it as to much of an excuse. What are the injury lists like at other clubs.

when we played plympton in rd 4 we had the top 9 from 2007 best and fairest out..all of them, know any teams that could handle losing 9 of their best?..injuries are not an excuse, they can be a reason for a bad performance but are not a valid excuse imo..every team has them and every team should work on 4-5 out of every grade every week

with the obvious gap in their a and b grade performances this year these injuries will play a part in how they go from here. last week may have been just on of those games for them.

The lads are really pumped for the Farmers game this week now that they have "done a collingwood" and knocked off the faves.

Hectorville were also very classy outfit last year and pushed us all the way. Could have been them in div 5 this year if it wasnt for some last quarter heroics in the prelim final. Im suprised not to see them dominating div 6. I dont venture much outside this topic so wouldnt know if they have lost many. Was a heartbreaking way to go out.

and mayb some unaccurate goal kicking BB.

we have only lost a couple of players from last year. think we were 1-2 at the start of the season but have put a few wins together n hopefully will be 7-2 at the halfway mark as we play teams below us.

The tagging jobs were noticable as well. Your number 10 seemed to follow simmons and sparnon closley whenever they went on the ball. Hoklas did explode in the third though
Good luck next week!

Farmers knocking off Greenacres makes our game with them next week very interesting. Centrals have they bye in the SANFL. Could it mean Todd Shepphard and Jimmy Thomas as a very handy in's for the midfield along with the return of Hugh Milikan's nemesis Rowan Shenton??  Cant wait for saturday already!!

Hugh Milikans nemesis, is that the guy who played on hughey in the granny and he kicked 8 on him. looking forward to match after the bye burra boys, should be a cracker, most of our agmes were last year wen we played each other

Yeah that the one
Hughey was awesome in the GF. We couldnt do anything to stop him. He is a classy player but you'll admit the duels the two had during the year were excellent viewing
The game at your home deck and the 1st semi i thought shents had the better of him though.
What happened to milikan this year? Changed club? Moved? I heard he had a run in your b's a little while back?

Will be a cracker of a game. Not for one second should anyone think were looking past ingle farm this week but everytime the word "blacks" is mentioned at the club it is promptly followed by " i cant wait for that game". A belter for sure.

ill just agree with zed. All the big guns looking to win.
Smithfield v Greenacres should be intersting. How injured are greenacres? Will smithfield prove themselves to be final 5 material?

Didn't he break his leg and manage to come back in time for finals only to not get selected in the GF last year? I reckon his first game back was the qualifying final in the b grade

Are they trying to buy their way back into div this year?

Rosies are travelling ok at the moment, touched up by Greenacres but I don't think we'll be the only ones. As for buying our way back into Div 4, not likely. We got a good coach who's managed to get some players on board without breaking the bank!! Got a good mix of youth with some experience ie Ormond Allen. We'll be around the mark.

Rumour doing the rounds that A and B grade coach at Rosies may have had an 'altercation' last weekend...

I heard and can confirm the same rumour Felch, funnily enough they are related?????
I also heard how they will combat such action to keep the clubs name up-held, no minors are allowed in the club after 9pm so they dont witness anymore knuckles, strange approach seeing 90% of the members i beleive have families

So buzz you quick were comment on this but oh thats right you didnt write this! Soft face up to your own actions next time.
