One name I did see in Eastern Park's B grade is Bonamy Eddy. He used to be a cult figure in my old league for Two Wells and I think he even kicked a tonne a couple of times. How come he doesn't get a run when the great man Donnelly is injured?[/quote]

Boo Eddy 4 times (maybe 5) Eastern Park Club Champion.
kicked a lot of goals for us in the mid / late 90's, very good player.
Good pack mark and was very quick across the ground.
Kicked 28 goals against Virginia one day and got dragged at 3/4 time.
Always double teamed every game but still delivered.
Went to Two Wells and done an ankle.......never the same after that but still good value.
Good to have him back at the Club.

Great win for us on the weekend over Walkerville

I saw Andy at Uni during the week and he threatened to beat me up for pretending to be him the other day. I just saw it as a good opportunity to disguise my identity after the furore at the club.

I will not be censored though, good luck to Jacko if he can find me, I wont be putting my hand up in any team meeetings.

i heard you havent attended ANY team meetings.

is it true you think kilburn are over rated and over paid???

Which club do you follow in div 3 fester? I wouldn't know anything about Kilburn, just seen them play a couple of times.

Do you think Walkerville is over rated and overpaid?

i heard Wilson from Kilburn is on $700 a game and some bloke who was delisted from Centrals a couple of weeks ago is getting $800 a game..............serious money being thrown around at chick land.
$35,000 salary cap leaves $400 a week for the other 20 & coach, go figure.

Hello, its the phantom message deleter here.

I got sidetracked and didn't explain myself, apologies to all.

Good for Adrian Wilson, but unecessary to divulge. So I took out all reference to it.

This forum cant afford to get sued becuase a club gets fined for breach of salary cap.

How can footballfollower delete your posts?

Wages are not part of the salary cap unless they are above the basic wage for that position.

Jacko doesn't know who I am yet. I think he'll get over it and realise I haven't done any harm.

You cannot give a person a job instead of payments for games played. This becomes part of the salary cap if you do.

You need to think about what you write. That would mean no-one could employ footballers if the employer had an affilliation with the club. The footballer gets payed for doing work, not for playing football. Here is the rule:

20.35.4.10 Player’s wages for employment
All payments made to a player (who has changed his place of residence to
play football) by his employer, over and above the basic wage for that
position.
(If a player shifts his place of residence to play football, commences
employment in that area with any person, sponsor or committee person
associated with that Club and receives $700 per week in that job, but the basic
wage for that position is $500, then the amount of $200 would be included in
the Salary Cap.)

TBS, thanks for clearing up the salary cap confusion. Captain Cordial was starting to make himself look silly. He should already know about how to break the salary cap being involved at Gepps.
