Neither Two Wells or Virginia to find anyone literate enough to write a decent match report but be the first to complain about it.

That's disappointing, but i'm glad you wrote "Decent match report" you seem to be the expert, maybe you can tell your mate! Cause he certainly wasn't there today, so i wouldn't presume he knows anything about besides what he's been told. :?

Careful who call illiterate, if we were illiterate we wouldn't be on an online forum complaining about the content of what we are or are not reading in the local paper would we genius? Rest assured MC, that if you struggle to understand what i'm trying to say you might want to spend a few more minutes processing it before you have a crack.

Yep, that comment in hindsight probably was a bit harsh but was meant to be injest after last weeks discussions on the Producer. I guess that sometimes sarcasm doesn't always come across well when typed. I did have a few people come up to me on Saturday and suggest that I was harsh (Just goes to show how many people read this forum but don't post themselves).

Having said that, I did speak with Jars and he said that each home club is responsible for their own match reports (Probably a fair reason why you didn't see him on Saturday). His job is to provide a review/preview each week.

I will wait with anticipation for Wednesday's Producer to come out to judge the Virgina/Two Wells clash.

Until then............

I Certainly wouldn't expect "war and peace"!

And i definatley wouldn't expect much more detail than what we read in the Sunday mail, I would suggest that the bar takings were reasonably high at ram park on saturday and you can just about translate that into a pretty hazy recollection of the events that unfolded, so i guess we can put this issue to bed? :)

Another interesting thing to witness on saturday was Erin Phillips, barking out her dad's instructions with the Runners guernsey on. Dead Set Greg must have always wanted a boy, but i hope for her sake she got out of there early on saturday night before a few of the local boys decided to take her on, she was a pretty tidy unit as far as runners go, at least farr better looking than ours!!

She was the topic of many conversations and did look pretty good (I reckon she had a pair of running shorts on :) ) - shame many of the messages that I hope were sent out didn't get through to some V players.

I was out at Salis Nth when Greg was coaching there and Erin would kick the footy between quarters. She could constantly kick the ball 60 metres!

Cant imagine that having a runner that doesn't know any of the players would be real efficient.

I could handle Erin running for me, not that Truss doesn't look good in a pair of footy shorts.

Erin was a great footballer as a kid, she played for SMOSH and won the best and fairest for her age group, shit most of the guys were upset that she took it out. But she was a much better footballer than them...

now that I can believe - I have seen a number of women come through the under age sides and also seen one take out a B&F and deserve it - BUT I still don't believe Erin Phillips could kick a ball 60m. I reckon only less than 5% of the thousands of men who play can do it - I seriously doubt she can.

Could be an interesting selection night for association tomorrow night with lots of players injured.
I know Graham, Serle, Broad, Vandenburgh from the tiges didn't play last weekend with injury as well as big Light from the Eags and Earl from the Maggies. This rules them out this weekend. There would be a few others injured as well I'd reckon. All of a sudden our squad is looking pretty thin!
