Do Guys think this squad will be good enough to knock off the NEFL, NAFA and the YPFL? in this carnival at balak?

Shaun Light should replace Lowey's spot in the Rucking spot, But losses like Harvey and Hollitt (who will probably wearing a different Shirt) are difficult to fill.

At least we can rely on a strong and proud feeling of tradition as the guys that pull on the Red, White and Black in the past have all wanted to and thrive on representing this league.

Pretty sure Assoc training starts next week. I dont think the squad is as strong as it has been in previous years. The quality squad (Assoc Standard) drops away fairly quickly so hopefully not too many of the likes of Walks, Light, Earl, Wilson's, Catford, J montgomerie, Searle, Pym or Allmond have injuries or work committments or we may well struggle.

Thats not good news Unicorn

Well it is good the wizard is back on the scene. Can't confirm that wait is coming back but i have ran in to him a few times in town on the turps the last six months and he is looking fitter and stronger than ever.would'nt mind him standing joel wilson next time hummocks play the tigers. It would be a great battle.I don't think joel would be as much of a bully as he was last week. The tigers are yet to show all the cards in their deck at the moment but in the coming weeks its looking promising. Hummocks looking ominous also.

They already have a similar player in Grugovic who is a sneak type player. Not sure if they could carry them both in the same team, especially if they are having a bad day. Both hot & cold players

One of the funniest things I've heard on the footy field was last year, Antony calling an umpire a midget and telling him he had no friends.

Once heard a player tell an umpire that his mother had 2 arseholes and he was one of them :D

Perhaps they need Chris Calyun back. Here's a quote from the great man last week during a conversation about the APFL, "Joel's strong, but I'm stronger!".

What did you think of the match report written by the clubs in today's Producer Rooster?
Personally, if you read the Virginia/Two Wells match report you don't get an understanding of what happened during the game. This was written by someone who was at the ground!
Reading the games in review by your favourite reporter Rooster, I have a far greater appreciation of what went on during the match than the official match report. This was written by a man who was a good 60km from the ground!
If Jars didnt do a review/preview each week all that would be reported would be the match reports. I think we can all agree that in the last 18 months the Producer has improved its coverage of Footy immensely which can only help bring more exposure to our great league.

It is not unexpected - most match reports generated by the clubs are often not as sharp as that produced by a "real" journo - not a critisism just the facts. As rooster said previously, there was a lot of noise and bravado coming from under the verandah - fair chance that's where the reporter was standing.

From Jars report I reckon he has spoken with someone quite close to the teams - as he should have.

The fact is swamp, he continues to try and run through people when they put there head over the footy without even watching the footy himself! I seem to recall you getting upset when r russo was up to his old tricks when the magpies last played the rams. Who is the wierd unit now?
