I would like to see the entire line up before I start bagging it.
Does anybody have it handy?

So is anyone heading to Balak to watch the game? perhaps the old super coach will find a new spot for a few of these lads for the rest of the year? Brad Valentine played a bit on the wing at HWE after being tried there in Assoc & zone games last year.

Arguably one of the best halves of afl footy this year between the kangas and geeeelong. Ya gotta love north they never give up.Haven't seen that young gollywog standing steve johnson before. Can anyone tell me where he is from?

Sorry boy's, the Rooster was wetting a line on the beautiful waters of Kangaroo Island when The Producer hit the floor of the Two Wells snackbar.

But i took time out to read the Sunday mail and saw the scores of the "Landmark Cup!" only to see we got trounced by the Yorkes!! and then going on to give the NA a small hiding.

Back on home soil now, i've just been reading the latest on here Re: dunlop volleys, Joel Vs United and all the pre game comment about the Association side.

Now to weigh in,

Dunlop Volleys - Good Value, get a pair of black ones and be fashionable as well as be a ambassador of great value!

Joel Vs United, Joel plays it hard and if you don't like that, you should probably swap your footy kit for some spandex netty out fit. don't let's start sooking about fierce bumps it is why country footy is a marvelous spectacle and what's better is if you get hit fairly up the front or over the melon, you generally always get an opportunity for a square up. (some teams play each other up to three times) and as one of the Two Wells training comittee likes to advocate "take a teaspoon of concrete and harden the F#$k up!!".

Assoc side - Don't know enough as present but i will be all over Kym Jarman's article this week to find out the details!

Apparently we got smoked by the umpires in the first game, big Whisky did not have a clue what the six free kick at consecutive centre bounces were for. I wasnt there but id assume six free kick from the guts in a 40 minute game may have had an influence on the final result. Can anyone shed some light. Its a real shame when the men in white feel they need to be in the spotlight during a game.

Must admit I didnt make the journey there either, but perhaps big whiskey is used to getting away with too much because of the current standard of the APFL umpiring? maybe the Assoc umps simply picked up on what our umpires should be! Dont get me wrong lads, I appreciate the men in white fronting up each week to cop an ear bashing, but... if players dont perform they definetly hear about it.

I heard a few blokes were a bit under the weather and kept running into the square before the bounce.

It all sounds a bit suspect to me!

Most of these blokes have been playing for long enough to know what they can and cannot do, incidently who were the umpires in question, were they from our league or ring-ins from somewhere else. 6 consecutive free kicks is unheard of, after two why wouldn't the umpire just say "listen mate, you need to step inside/outside/on the circle, etc" not just ping blokes and let them have to deal with it in the small amount of time they get to play.

Sounds to me like there are a lot of excuses being bantered around here for the Adelaide Plains falling short of the mark compared to the likes of the YP and NEFL, 2nd year in a row I might add.

The NEFL team looked way stronger than the opposition it played, granted it didn't play the Adelaide Plains this year however from what I saw I think they would have beaten them also.

Thank you for your input Rupert! 8)

But i'll think you'll find if you read the post's above none of us were there, we are all going by what we were told, so excuses, maybe? But only based on what we've been told, and you blokes nearly got beaten by our mob last year so you can celebrate for now, but the APFL squad always give a good account of themselves.

See the APFL have got it completely wrong, again???? Last Wednesday night at Assoc training, Harry Taylor told the emergencies for the team that they would not be playing on Saturday and would not be required to show up on Saturday at the game. As a result Brian Montgomery organises to work as he would every Saturday up until 1pm. The coach then rang him late Friday night to tell Brian he is now needed as Tom Smith pulled out, to which Brian couldnt commit as he had already committed to working for the day (given he was told this was ok) so the APFL slaps him with a one-week suspension. Absolute load of sh#t, considering he went to every training unlike 70% of the other squad members and was told he was not required. All due respects to Buschy, there hasnt been too many smart decisions coming from your way for several years.
