THE NIGHT
____________________
Gawler is finished
Had a great night out trackside as I invariably do at this course
Went there with the stablemate BAYMAN
FREE admission
Quite amazing Ive hinted for years it should be FREE admission and guess what, yep one of the very biggest on course crowds turned up !
Happy hours
Some punters rolled up I havent seen for years including former driver Richard Gubbins
Leading trots bookie Peter Dammerell gave me overs all night for my bets[I just beat him]
Micky Crime was there and had women swinging of his arms
Centreman/Smarter than Simmo/span/colin the egg and many more rolled up
The good SAMaritan rolled up as well
Great night
Shame that Gs bulldozers will rip this nostalgic track apart

Dutchy it was a positive post.
All we need is Globe Derby, Pirie for the northern hillbillies and Victor for the summer tourists.
The only bigger joke than Gawler was when Kapunda was up and running.
