what's happened at the track & 'jumping' jack in form !!!

Postby bayman » Sun Jun 08, 2008 12:28 am

well we should be glad we still have a bookie at globe derby (mondays excluded) because there was not one bookie at the geelong trots (or newcastle for that matter) tonight

the icecream man was situated down near the secretary's office for 25-30 years (open every week) & 6-18 months ago he finally got shifted up to in front of the grandstand & since then he has been closed more times than not

we got to race 7 tonight & i heard a ladies voice say "not another odds on favourite" so turning around i see it was the lady that pushes in the 'prices/divs' to send them to other tracks & onto the screens (or however it works)

JUMPING JACK SPOT ON.....AGAIN

WAS TALKING TO THE GREAT MAN BEFORE RACE 7 & HE ASKED ME WHO I LIKED & I TOLD HIM THAT IF 'AUSSIE SAFE' GOT OUT TO ABOUT 6/4 I'D BE BACKING HIM BECAUSE IT LOOKED A GRADED CERTAINTY DESPITE NOT HAVING WON FOR A LONG TIME, JJB SAID TO ME "YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT THE GRADE BUT WHEN A HORSE IS SO MUCH OUT OF FORM AS IT IS & LOSES IT CONFIDENCE AS THEY DO, IT WOULDN'T MATTER IF YOU PUT THAT TYPE OF HORSE IN A MAIDEN THEY STILL WOULDN'T WIN VERY OFTEN, SO SAVE YOUR MONEY IT ISN'T ANY VALUE UNLESS YOU GOT 3/1 MINIMUM"

THANKS JACK YOU SAVED ME A TON
