Look maybe I do get fired up at times and say what I feel but isn't that democricy? I am sure a Lincoln Distict supporter (example wcp) would agree with my comments on City. I say what I feel in life and that is how I have been for 39 years, I am not about to change now! If I cross the line let me know I am happy to curtail myself if anyone is offended.

The way you express yourself is child-like. So how could you have premierships behind you? And if so, what was you name on the team sheet?
I would have a lot better record than you grub when talking Mortlocks and Premierships, but then again you still have 10 years of B-GRADE football ahead of you and lots of walls to run through!
So TRR now that everyone knows you put $100 on the bar - you can't enjoy yourselves? I don't understand. Assistant coach mmm... Dumb and Dumber springs to mind!
Putting money on the bar isn't going to fix City's problems. If theses players got paid what they got paid at Club level we would see 30 at training instead of 12 or 13.
No passion - maybe you should be a spy and see why clubs that dont pay players have passion (see Disticts training).
Finish with a posative was seven goals in the last qauter when Great Flinders had started their warm down. Lincoln City always have been the laughing stock, changing the culture is like changing Bostons culture, give it 15 -20 years. This may be harsh words but I am prepaired to say it unlike others!

That is big call, bagging a City side that has won 3 of its last 4 Mortlock games and its only loss was by under a goal. And Mortlock Champions 2 years ago.

I hears Districts only had 12 players at interleague training on the Tuesday which is less than City and I am pretty sure Adrian Pobke played B's two weeks ago (not sure why) and was given an interleague game the following week under the same coach so I don't think there would be as much passion in the Districts camp as you seem to think.

Thought the players who represented City on Saturday did a pretty reasonable job against a quality side. The final score flattered them a bit but its not easy to prepare for a game when you get a phone call on the Friday night and it is not their fault for being put in that situation. At least they gave it ago. Pretty easy to criticise from the outside. (I thought the tackling of Adam Davey was outstanding but perhaps next time he could try it on an opposition player rather than a team mate).

And stating that I don't care is complete Crap! I went to City training on Tuesday and was looking forward to playing but unfortunatley I was unable to.

Your correct Covey, passion and committment is also dwindling at Districts, but certainly not to the extent of City. One only needs to read Bridey's post that sums up the general consensus of City players.

Let's try to remember though, this round used to be PL v Whyalla, a good game that most liked to play in. Let's wait and see what Mortlock brings in terms of committment and performances, cause at present this early round of matches with the two teams is an embarrasment to PL footy.

Quote of the week from todays Times - Barry Evans commenting on Ungarra and trying to resurrect the town etc 'Ungarra has a great sporting complex with the best oval on EP'. I've heard of bias before but Ungarra the best on EP!! Sheesh......

The mushrooms are tasty off Ungarra Oval. Totally agree with you Barry.
Infact if anyone wants to join a few people that pick mushrooms I know a few that do it every second Saturday afternoon between 2.30 and 5pm. They even dress up in white black and red colours for the occasion. What are your thoughts HS?

Even that had run it's race towards the end panther...last match in 2003 Whyalla won by 15+ goals and the whole trip was somewhat of an embarrasment...Fitzy still has nightmares about it. The question is, do we really need this rep game, with a new and revitalised Mortlock 3 weeks away?....from a city perspective, you would probably say no. This early game has always been a bit of a grind, with City losing all three games since being included in the roster....but have been only a kick away from winning the last 2 mortlocks.
Lets wait a couple of weeks before we pass any judgement.
