Good to see the great Gojko BOG with 5 sausage rolls, must have been kicking over DR's head. I would too.

This Forthy bloke's back must not be as bad as I heard, 12 goals is another good return

It was at Greenies home ground, as suggested on an earlier thread, it may not have been his back with the problem. He's a credit to himself for the size of him.

This is from the SANFL section:

"Who was the North staffer ( Elliot or Moore)that circulated the note of players that were "under the microscope" to Danny Ryan at Greenacres. This led Danny to ring one of them asking him if he wanted a game at Greenies. Problem was, this player didn't know anything about being on the "cut list"
Players listed included Walker, Schubert, Coulter, Ladhams, O'Hara and others."

Perhaps a couple of North boys to end up in the Amateur League. I wonder how much money you'd need to get one of those boys at a div 5 club?

shrek : kenilworth were for a fair part of the game shite as you say except the 2nd quarter which they actually broke even..go figure..ryan said after the game that greenies were real hot on the day and had a few back in and were pumped up after 2 embarassing losses..

forth is from moonta i believe and he was here(div 5) all last year as well kicking bags, so hes not new to anyone in div 5..he is tho an absolute nutcase and perhaps the player with the most tickets on himself in the competition..very very cocky..and when you put him with trevillian you got a pair of testicles :)

there is no way greenies can have any room in the salary cap with what they have paid out already..ladhams has retired as well..i would suggest 300-350 a game for a few of them

I'd suggest more than that to play that low. Do you think they are concerned with the salary cap? Is it ever enforced?

well they carry on like every goal is the sealer in a grand final..he kicked 4 but got 3 in 5 minutes before half time and the kid playing on him (who has only played footy for 2 years) actually gave him a bath..the only shining light in a defense that got creamed

the salary cap is a joke..i dont think it would worry them at all..plenty of ways to "pay" players without anyone knowing..its a claytons salary cap..shrek, those players maybe worth more a game but who will pay more for a div 5 competition..i think schubert, ladhams and coulter both played in the sanfl gf last year

from what i could ascertain most of them are back expect for the 3 who have rest of season injuries..schallelehn(typo?) will be back soon but is having trouble with his hammies..and i also heard that forths injury was an ankle not back..and ryan didnt play

on a side note..i roll up to yatala and choose a car park..park car, get out of car and nearly step on a used condom and tissues :vom: ...one of our boys also lost his wallet after the game around the goals near the clubhouse..went back 2 hours later when he realised and found it still sitting there !!..lucky boy me thinks \:D/

demon: i dunno about coulter but ladhams has definitely retired with a bad neck injury

What I mean is that league players wouldn't want to play a slow as div 5 so the club would have to offer them more money than say a div 1 club to get them down there.

yes understood now and probably correct..at henley or goodies they might only get the 200-250 but to play for kenilworth we would have to offer 500

Certainly is, Trent is now working up there.

Pretty good pick up for Olympic Dam than, they where premiership favourites at the start of the season, now should have it easy.

How will Rosewater go without him?

Rosies are 2 from 2 without him, mind you one of them was Central united. I don't know if Plympton had many out But Rosies 11 goals to zip at half time!!!
